From the new and improved Crew Union Website As most of you now know most of the North End is gone with the addition of a permanent stage in the offseason. We are taking this opportunity to try to join forces so to speak with the other supporters groups in one area of the stadium as we move down to 101. In working with the Crew front office we have established a general admission supporters section stretching across the North East corner of the stadium. The price of season tickets in 101 will be the same as the rest of the North End if you buy them by March 1st: * Adult Full Season: $252 * Student/Youth Full Season: $180 * Adult Half Season: $180 Check out the new webpage at TheCrew.com specifically for ordering tickets in the new Crew supporters corner. (If a mod could please sticky this for now, I'd appreciate it.)
My company is hosting 40 people in the Party on the Pitch section for the October 26 game against DC. So, I already have two tickets in the Supporter's Section for this game. For sale if anyone wants them.
The club is now soliciting deposits for season tickets for next season. Will there be anything special done for the Nordecke? Should we send in our deposits or should we wait? Kevin, we had talked about some things on the way to Toronto, are any of those ideas going to come into play this offseason? I figure there are probably a number of us out here who have yet to do anything with renewing their tickets for next year, so if we can put something together soon, then people could act with plenty of time (and also maybe have something in place in time to give people christmas presents or something).
There will be a live chat event with Kyle Beckerman from Real Salt Lake City on 10/23/2008. Everyone can join and chat with the Real's captain here: http://www.minute91.com/news_detail.php?nw_id=82
We haven't had the chance to talk more about some of the ideas we had regarding season tickets for members of the Nordecke. Go ahead and renew your season tickets with your ticket rep and if they don't already know at least mention that you are member of one of the supporters groups.
I'm currently between ticket reps... ... our last ticket rep really dicked us over... ... that's right, I went in there and I said, "I'm not going to jail for you, and anybody"... ... Garth, remember your pills ...
Wilson has always handled mine straight up, although I imagine he probably hands it over to someone else at some point...
Is there any benefit / reason to go with the crew union site vs. ticket rep? Does any of the money go in to the crew union stash?
I don't know the exact details, but I think that for the home game tickets, the Union gets a very small amount per ticket (like maybe $1) towards their general fund. For the away tickets (like the individual Chicago tickets) they were selling them straight-up at face w/ no margin on them.
Usually a dollar or two per ticket goes to the Crew Union but it all depends on the deal we get on the tickets.
Ok this is slightly off of the season ticket topic, but since I am new and it won't let me start my own thread yet, how could I go about getting playoff tickets in the supporter's section? I am looking to get 2 tickets, hopefully in the two game package, but I am willing to buy them individually. Thanks!
Crew Union has them at their web store: http://www.crewunion.com/alpha/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=8&category_id=3&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=19
I've still got 15 dollar tickets for both play off games, let me know by Thursday if you need tickets, As always I'll reserve them for whoever and have them at Ruby Tuesdays before the game on Saturday.
Hey does anyone know how us season ticket holders get our hands on the free crap they're giving out for 4-8 game packs? they're passing out an 08 championship scarf and that sucker would look great on my wall next to the 08 playoff scarf.
They always dick us over on this stuff. I'm not sure why, especially since we shelled out the full amount ITTET*. * ITTET © Dan Looney, 2009. All Rights Reserved
Uhm.. I have as of yet to receive my season tickets.. Should I be alarmed yet, or wait a few more days? (btw, they are Nordecke season tickets)
my rep told me yesterday that everyone should have their tickets by the 15th. (I don't have mine either)
