Amazing how so much excitement can be generated with so few words. No punctuation needed, either! Very minimalist.

    ;)

Wait, this announcement isn't about Salt Lake, is it?

I wonder if it's Ferenc Béres ... he is an attacking player.

    Then again... maybe a DP?

With limited roster spots we could end up cutting some decent players, which would actually be good of course!

Until we need them in July. I know the last 4 guys on the roster hardly get minutes, but any MLS team that makes it far in the Open Cup or Superliga is going to need good depth.

That was my thought when I saw this thread.

Most of our guys got at least 45 minutes in a competitive game last year, the only one that didn't was Pardo. We had 30 players play in competitive games for us last year.

Sure, good to hear that Salt Lake is working on players, but what about the Wizards?

Salt Lake is high in the salary cap, and have a few internationals already on their team. We have extra space and only two international players.

Attacking player? ST, CF, Wing, A-mid?

A return of Yura? Do one of their Argentines want to play with Lopez?

Beckerman has an offensive threat to him.

Uh, the Real quips are just jokes. It's not "re-AL close on another attacking player," it's "Real[ly] close on another attacking player"

Is he under 30? Is he in shape and really want to play in the nice not summers of MLS. Will he be consistently riding a bicycle to nowhere because he is always hurt? Lastly are we going to know this guy or are we going to say WTFIT! Sorry but my confidence in our scouting dept is not to high.

wow...you kind of soaked my cheerios...

i'm simply trying to provide info on roster moves before they hit the paper - not trying to suggest that kaka is on a flight to kc.:)

We appreciate the hints before the Star "breaks" the news :)rolleyes:). By the way, what is soaking your Cheerios is the Pavlov-type drooling that occurs when you give such hints with not much info to go on. ;) How's that for ruining your appetite.....

Having said that, I completely understand Spoon's reservations (*cough* Marinelli *cough*).

I am not asking for Kaka nor do I ever expect anything like Kaka. I would just be happy with another Molnar.

Paper what is this paper you are talking about? OH the thing called the KCStar, that has called my house 10 times in the last week looking for new subscriptions. Sorry but not untill they give ALOT more coverage to the team. Umm Question Robb. Why do you care so much about the paper? Why not get this out on sport radio media? It hits more people and might not be so out of date when it does come out.

Because as much as we all hate the Star for their lack of coverage, they're still one of the main media sources in this town. Sure by the time they get stories out, most of us have already heard it, but it is what it is.

And why not sports radio, I'd venture to guess it'd be similar to the same thing, lack of coverage, and the sports radio stations not really caring.
