Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Daigo Kobayashi to Norway? I don't think he is suited to the physical league. They are like oil and water. Anyways I wish him the best. He is a joy to watch and deserved to be given a chance on national team.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Video from Spain with Kobayashi Stabæk coach Jan Jönsson has played and coached in Japan. San Frecce Hiroshima and Vissel Kobe http://www.vgtv.no/?id=20936

Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Celtics' crazy 11-10 penalty shootout can be seen here. I think he's also got the full game if you fish around a bit in the archives. http://www.justin.tv/clip/870f33ce96c3e762 Hondas' 11th goal can be seen on the Jupiler League website... along with an interview. They're both on the frontpage, you can see them by clicking "VVV" next to the video player. http://jupilerleague.nl/
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] The Bundesliga will start for our japanese Players today Wolfsburg are guests at Köln and Eintracht will play against Hertha in Berlin Coach Magath is thinking about to start with Okubo, because he made a strong performance on wednesday against Rostock at DFB-Pokal
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] They're both losing 1-0 too. And I'll be surprised if Ono is back tomorrow. He's been playing off and on in friendlies throughout the break and his ankle seems to be the latest concern.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] what's a link for the wolfsburg game? gamecast thing that I'm checking has said Okubo's on now. And has already taken a shot on target. Wolfsburg 1-0 down so far. Now 1-1, Okubo with the assist.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Okubo's pass was good but I wouldn't call that an assist. Grafite did all the work here. Great goal : http://rojadirecta.org/foros/viewtopic.php?t=57277
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Osama Elsamni has signed with Czech 1st division club FK Teplice. I believe he is the first Japanese to play in the country. Although he didn't shine at Tokyo Verdy, I wish him the best at his new club. http://www.fkteplice.cz/fotogalerie/31_01_09_tym_se_chysta_do_turecka.html
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] He's eligible for Egypt and Japan right? I wonder which one he would choose.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Didn't he play for Japan U17s? I'm not sure that locks him in (I'd guess that it doesn't at least), but it's something.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Gordon Strachan says he'll let Nakamura leave in the Summer if he wants to return to Japan. No real news here... his contract expires and he hasn't shown any signs of wanting to sign a new one. But now it's officially unofficial that Naka will be returning to JLeague to raise his family.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] it could be better, because he hit the post! he had the 1:2 on his foot but he hit the post!
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Morimoto on the bench. Nakamura starts, Miuzuno not even on the bench.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Report on all players abroad coming in a few hours... you know where...
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Even if he succeeds there, he will end up becoming another Issey Nakajima-Farran who is also a former Tokyo Verdy youth product and currently plays for Canada NT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issey_Nakajima
Re: Japanese Abroad 2008/09 [R] Ina also on the bench. No Nakamura or Mizuno in todays squad for Celtic. Nakamura is in Japan i guess.
