In an effort to create a co-promoted event between the UFC, M-1, and Affliction Entertainment, Fedor Emelianenko calls out Brock Lesner.
I know it wasn't a lot of smack talkin' from Fedor, M-1 stated that Brock wouldn't last a round w/ Fedor. I don't think Fedor is too hyped right now to fight Brock, cause on Jan 24th, he continues his quest for UFC Belts as his face another former UFC Heavyweight, Mr. Andrei Arlovski (13-5) at Affliction 2 “Day of Reckoning” in Anaheim, Calif. I am looking forward to that, cause Arlovski seems to have found his swagger again & his movement could pose a problem for Fedor.

Lesnar needs about 5-7 more fights and about 2 more years of training before he fights Fedor. Fedors game plans are too good.

Arlovski... Hmm still not convinced. He needs to be better than his old self and I just don't see it.

I don't think brock needs that much more time to fight fedor. I wanna see him give fedor his hammer fists.

Fedor would handle Brock very, very quickly (see Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman fights). He would either armbar Brock from guard or reverse him and GnP and work for a kimura. I don't think it would last a full 5 minute round. I love Brock, but I love Fedor more. He's just in a class of his own.

And Robdog, why would his movement give Fedor problems? Fedor has handled much better strikers (Schilt, CroCop) with relative ease (Schilt was his first fight in PRIDE and he fought CroCop with a busted up hand), and I don't see Arlovski stuffing Fedor's takedown, especially since Arlovski will work the clinch (he's been training with Freddie Roach, a noted boxing trainer). Also, Ben Rothwell took Arlovski down and nearly finished him until one of the worst referee standups in history stopped him from doing so. And I think we can all agree that Rothwell is no Fedor.

I see Fedor finishing Arlovski in the late 1st round or early 2nd round, probably by armbar or kimura. He won't TKO him, it's just not Fedor's style. He generally stuns guys and rather than continuing to punch, he will work in a sub while the guy is trying to recover.

    WAR FEDOR!

No point in Fedor facing Brock at this time. Andrei had a good plan, but got caught and knocked cold. I wouldn't even consider Brock until I see how he does against Mir again. That will be a good judge to see how far or not Brock has come. Plus Mir is better now then he was when he beat Brock.

Dude, Nog would own Brock. I think Gonzaga would too. Right now, Mir & Fedor is the epic fight of dreams in the HW.

Lesnar would kill Nog if he stays in the same form that he fought Mir in. He's taken a lot of damage (Fedor X 3, Sapp, Cro Cop, Sylvia) He may have one more and he needs to hang them up.

Gonzaga tho has the potential to give Lesnar a real good fight. And I have Mir taking Brock too.

Nog is past it, I hate to say. Brock would probably overwhelm him on the feet. No need to take it to the ground and risk getting submitted. He'd stuff Nog's takedown relatively easily.

Gonzaga could give Lesnar a good fight, but he's gotta work on his cardio. Brock's stand up really surprised me in his last fight, I could see him outboxing Gonzaga and working a late GnP finish in.
