I'm not say your lie, but do you get proofs that some these girls is plastic?

well I thought all the beauty pagents is like this, only unmarry girls so I dont think its no big deal.

In any case congrats Miss Japan she's hot.

There should be a Topless shoot in addition to Swimwear and EveningWear shoots. In the Topless shoots they should pose lifting their melons with their hands at many angles, close up shots of their armpits and areole to prove those are not silicons or saline. Or if they are, to show the scarring is minimal, or almost invisible.......surely scars inflicted on oneself intentionally in pursuit of "beauty" goes against the idea of "beauty", even if one is only judging "physical beauty". Hence plastic surgery scars is a diffeent kettle of fish and as such should also be in the evaluation criteria if they have chosen to go down that path and risk scars.

i havent watched a Miss Universe/World contest in eons. Or even looked at the photos of the contestants. There are too many beautiful women modelling, on photoshoots, magazines, newspapers, films, TV, internet, real life etc. From that one photo of Miss Japan i cant say whether or not she deserved the title or not. Not that im interested enough to google more photos up, for aforementioned reasons.

actually as i am typing this, i find my curiosity rising, curious to see each countries' Miss reps.

    How insidious.

Interesting contrast of opinion lads. I think everybody is right in their own ways. A periodic, academic rumblings from me, if you care to read.

The whole "miss world" and modelling thing is skewed towards the eurocentric beauty, which dominated the world due to political balance of power in the 19-20th Century. I find eurocentricism beautiful too, but I also see the "alternative perception", predominantly out of Japan which in turn affected the far east in recent years.

The funny thing about today's world is the strange behind-the-scene existance of cuteness. Even the general public in the western hemisphere is gradually waking up to the Japan-centric perception of beauty, which revolves more around cuddly adorableness and sentimental charm. At discrete level it began a while back through media and entertainment industry influencing the western counterpart (e.g. waterman's japan reference to Baby Spice's hairstyle and dress code).

In the west, scouts for future fashion models often talk about child-like facial features, narrow thighs and oriental cheekbone being the key to scouting. Those are the parameters the east does well in. In Europe there has been a movement to ban thin models, in favour of fat women. A bit of a conflict there. I can't help but feel that the west is in for a big surprise and a shock, as it realizes that the far east does not require such an absurd regime of diet to retain those parameters.

The difference is in the rest of the parameters, and that's where we may see the change in years to come. What I find interesting about Japan is that, while half of it is pulled in by the eurocentricism, the other half rigidly retains japancentricism. No doubt, that part of the world will influence the perception of beauty in the next 100 years.

When that happens, one problem I see is the "short supply". Once the general public in the west wakes up to japancentricism, the select-few countries in the far east will not suffice to balance out the supply&demand. So, perhaps if japancentricism is to be protected, it is better for the world not to wake up to it in the first place. How ironic.

jennifer hawkins won for australia a few years ago and it shocked her that many fellow contestants pushed their boobs up, collagen, botox...etc, how obsessed they were about surgery

    but anyway,
    i really don't care.

Actually, given how the west is perceiving eastern beauty, I don't think current Asian guys will have any problem and will only benefit our less fortunate women. Well, I guess then our guys eventually do end up getting the shaft. Hmm... idk, it's not like western chicks are in short supply given the culture today, so I don't think it'll be a problem in the future.

Hm... Either you misunderstood/misinterpreted my post or you were meant to reply to somebody else's post? It seemed relevant at first sight, but ultimately you're talking about something rather different from the line I was on.

I am so lucky, I cannot understand a word she says. Otherwise I would see her in random things such as traffic, lawns, clouds, snow, rainbows, etc.....

haha, u should travel to Saitama then and go to the Urawa Reds ladies matches :) And after the game wait outside the gate until the players come ot and ask for her autopgraph. Perhaps u can ask her out the same time. Apparently she's still single so :)

But supposing she said "Yes" to me ? It would have to be a very cold "Yes". If she said it with just a slight smile, or radiated those eyes at me, then I would just fall over backwards and die. And that would not be "taking a dive" either ....

I think Kozue is why they call it "the beautiful game" ?

Dont tell me that you are a Munich baker ! If so, teach me everything !

All right, you should put your fave up here. I know who she is, and I will agree she is easily #2 in the whole thread.

Well all I can is that I feel better about my sanity, and that some people agree with my tastes.

A few months back I posted a picture of her on that "hottest woman player" thread, but they didnt like her.

Instead they are raving about Natasha Kai

You mean punished by a tattoed dominatrix lesbian girl.

Most of them dont seem to know that she is "out" about this !!!

Actually that is another subject. I wonder if it exists on Japans team. To judge by the other great teams (eg USA, Germany, Sweden - these teams seem to be almost 50% lesbian !), there must be. Does anyone care to comment ? If I should not bring this up, I wont, but I do see a tiny piece of evidence. Should I drop the matter ?

By the way, Marta is of course coming from Sweden to LA Sol, but only after one of her demands was met - that beautiful blonde Johanna Frisk, her best friend and a DF on her current Umea team, also got signed - and LA Sol did just that.

So take a look at this - now maybe womens' soccer in Japan is a very tiny community, and it might not be good to say more than this on a message board, but take a look at the first goal (by the beautiful Yonogo captain, Tanaka) and especially the celebrations afterwards - do you see what I see ?

Just normal ? Or we dont want to talk about these things ?

    Anyway, I still love her ....... :D !!! !!! :D
