Starting afresh as most of the early bugs have been cleared.

Are these RSS feeds not compatible with our setup?

    http://goaltacoma.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default

    For the Tacoma Tides.

    http://pdl.uslsoccer.com/index.xml

    For the PDL in general.

I've input the PDL one in a number of forums, and it is accepted but no news comes through. I input the Tides link and it generates a parsing error. I have been writing other PDL teams to see if they might start an RSS feed to go with their news portion of their home page, but I don't want to push it too far if it isn't going to work in the first place.

RSs feeds are causing some problems as providers are not consistent in following published standards. We are debugging as you report for the exceptions.

    In Houston:

Geoff Cameron needs a USA flag next to his name

The table shown is MLS Eastern Conf., I do not see the West.

Also, the news feed has not updated any new articles since I put in the RSS feed links.

player C Hidalgo shows above goalkkepers title, he needs a flag and to go under forwards

table of teams shows over 40+ and has the same team repeated 3 or 5 times on top or bottom of list

RSS feeds still show lack of caracter recognition for spanish accent and letters ñ - Ñ - è - ú , etc....

How can I put the team logo on the group? I see a couple of teams who have it, but I can't figure it out.

Horsehead, it is an image. Do it the same way you would when replying to a post.

No there is a new way. You can do it in the wiki, using the img button. But you can now do it in social groups, click on edit group, add group images. We will soon auto pull those images onto your wiki for you. :)

Maybe my question wasn't clear, I want to fix the icon for the Real Madrid group.

There is already an image in the Real Madrid wiki, I put it in a couple days ago. I can see how to put an image on my user-created group, from my main group page I can click Edit Group, then Edit Group Icon. But in the new RM Supporters group I'm not the creator so I can't do it. I even tried to transfer the group to myself, but that power-mad member BigSoccer (group creator/maintainer) wouldn't let me. :p

Any picture I add from either the group page or the team page just goes with all the other pictures in the group.

Oh. We need to tweak permissions on teh groups so you can edit the group pic. Got it. I need to find a way to allow that without allowing you to change the name or delete the group. interesting.

There is at least one new PDL franchise that isn't showing - up here in my region so I am happy to edit it. The Kitsap Pumas are in for 09.

I spruced up the Blackpool page and tried to do the same with the Rayados of Monterrey, but the only RSS feed I could find did not work (the Monterrey newspapers require a subscription). There was an error, here is the link:

Saw an advert on the LFC page. As a premium member, should I see those?

The US league tables, MLS, USL1, USL2, PDL have the draw and loss columns flipped. The math doesn't work out right as it is currently listed. The easy way to correct to the swap the column headings, D and L.

Actually this issue exists with all of the tables I have looked at so far. EPL, Mexican, etc.

Noted that there is no information available for the Argentine Apertura table. I think that's a very important information to include, in order to attract fans.

I noticed on the River Plate page that if you sign up as a 'foe', and click to view the 'foe' messages, it takes you instead to the supporters page. It's probably best not to link the foes to the supporters page.
