    A milestone day is here once again for the club and fans. I'm starting a new thread as good news will signify a dramatic step forward for the club and the progression of a great many issues. This will logically start with the news we should receive today.

    As much as I want to immediately celebrate, being a Wizards fan (read as: dog that's been kicked a lot), I have to ask - what are the next steps and do we foresee other roadblocks?

    I think that's more the timetable for groundbreaking, if what Robb has said recently is correct. ;) I wouldn't mind seeing some stadium porn wrapped in a big ribbon under the tree....:)

    So, is this the final hurdle? I mean is it truly the final hurdle?

    I thought this was done when it passed the state a few months ago but then we got this.

    If so, when is the groundbreaking! I want to make plans to be there!

    I do like the artical except for this...

    The Wizards hope to move into the new stadium sometime during the 2010 season. They currently are playing at CommunityAmerica Ballpark in Wyandotte County.

    Other then that.... Hell yeah!!!!!!

    Hah, pretty much this, have a bottle of champaign waiting for the weekend to celebrate a refcent promotion, but this is definatly cause to bump that up.

    Thanks to everyone involved :D So who gets to take the first hammers to the mall?

    It'll probably be more like "Cerner Field in Sprint Park at Hillcrest Road."
