    Obamapalooza
    Obamalamadingdong
    Obamarama
    Obamarang

    and my current favorite

    Obamadämmerung

    with the suitably fascist overtones.

With Al Gore under consideration as "Climate Czar?"

The bloated Gore and the Stepford Pelosi "saving the planet?" Good God.

Meanwhile, "competent" is an adjective, not a nickname.

Once again, you struggle with the purpose of words.

Can Crook be considered a nickname?

Why Doesn't Rahm Emanuel Pay Property Taxes?

Why wouldn't 4228 North Hermitage property owners Rahm Emanuel and wife Amy Rule not pay property taxes? One reason may be because Emanuel and Rule declared their 4228 North Hermitage home as the office location for their non-profit foundation appropriately called the "Rahm Emanuel and Amy Rule Charitable Foundation". As a non-profit headquarters, they may consider their home as exempt from paying taxes.

Somebody quick ask the incoming Chief of Staff (AKA crook) if he pays taxes... also bonus points for linking Rahm Emanuel and Cook County Tax Assessors office with Jake and Elwood...

    :)

Hey Slick, where did you come up with the idea that an adjective couldn't also be a nickname. :D

Hell, Slim Shady is actually two adjectives comprising one nickname.

I'm thinking sweetness could be classified as an adjective as well although it is primarily a noun I would suspect.

    Sincerely,

    Speedy Gonzalez

This Obama hate is overkill. I agree his economic advisors are weak, I agree his ideas look less than desirable from here and I didn't vote for the guy but aren't we supposed to stand behind our President until he actually messes up? Shouldn't we hope Obama succeeds?

It's just basically two people who will never support president Obama and are just blowing off steam. Pretty harmless.

On his advisors, I would disagree. The closest economic advisors to him are his two young wonks, Austin Goolsby and Jason Furman. Far from socialists, these two are young, bright and free market favoring economists. In addition, you have Warren Buffet, which despite ITNs source, I think everyone agrees he is about as knowledgable on the US and world economies as anyone out there. Larry Summers name is also conspicuously absent from his list as is Paul Volker.

Did he bring in a broader group? Sure but the people closest to him on this issue are top notch.

I'll support him if and when he has good ideas.

Right now he doesn't have very many, if any.

Karl Obama's presidency could be good no matter what. I hope you and I are wrong and that Obama suceeds because it is better to be wrong than to have people lose jobs and suffer.

But let's say things don't improve under Obama it could kickstart a new conservative movement. The Carter economic conditions (I don't totally blame Carer btw) ushered in the Reagan era. This could happen again. If we have to get behind a mainstream republican let's nominate Mitt Romney? Romney could be the next great conservative.

But anyway Obama has also proved that the far left has wildly exaggerated how racist this country is, another victory for conservatives.
