Good luck with that. Again I doubt Roberts will be called up, nor would most of T&Ts overseas based players, so one never knows.
If Grenada does brings in their big guns they might have a chance. Of course I don't think that's how things will play out. ;)
Anyway we still have to qualify and even if we do we wont know for sure which group we'll be in.

lol if Grenada is lucky then Trinidad will finish second and play in Group I :)
but they are too good to finish second even without their overseas players...Grenada better do everything they can to get Roberts so they can qualify to the Gold Cup.

T&T pulled out a squeaker agaisnt a plucky Antigua side who were leading 1-0 at the half. I hope this shocks the guys to live tonight against St. Kitts Nevis. A win wud leave us sitting pretty to qualify.

Do you mean advance to the Caribbean finals or qualify for the Gold Cup? A win over St. Kitts and Nevis (or a win over Guyana) would guarantee Trinidad and Tobago the former because they would have 6 points and the only way a team with 6 points in a round-robin group of four could not finish in the top two requires all the games to have winners but there was already a draw.

I was referring to the DCC finals and yes a win would guarantee advancement but I would prefer if we won the group.

    Wikipedia says:

    Antigua and Barbuda 2:1 Guyana
Trinidad and Tobago 3:1 St. Kitts and Nevis

The tiebreaker must be head-to-head because Wikipedia already put Trinidad and Tobago into Group J (as the Group H winner) with Jamaica, Grenada, and Barbados.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia, so don't take it for fact. Antigua & Barbuda v Saint Kitts & Nevis first will determine what kind of game we have for T&T v Guyana. If it is head-to-head that counts, then the only result that is good for Guyana is a Saint Kitts win. If Saint Kitts win, then Guyana would need to beat T&T to sneak second place. If Antigua win, T&T v Guyana would become academic.

Not really they are both missing some players but I wouldn't call them C teams. T&T were just playing S ball. Plus again I seriously have to question Maturana's selection policy for the starting 11 especially the defense. Imagine he had Gray, Avery John and Julius James on the bench.............

Grenada scored the winner in the 90th minute according to Wikipedia. Jamaica scored twice in the last 15 minutes to beat Barbados 2:1.

If they are, they shouldn't be. These are qualifiers for the 2009 Gold Cup. They should take it seriously, especially T&T, they could use it as practice for the HEX if nothing else.

Yeah but according to some of the members here, both Trinidad and Jamaica rarely use there best squads for this tournament; or atleast that's the reason they give for not winning it back in 2007 anyways. I don't know how true that is, so that's why i ask. But considering Jamaica was eliminated at the first hurdle last time, they might very well be telling the truth. Trinidad on the other hand, made it to the final and lost to Haiti, and like i said, there are those who say the only reason they lost was because they had a "C team" so......

Both this year and last year we used squads missing some overseas based players so If u mean to ask if this is the same squad used in World Cup Qualifiers then the simple answer is no.
