Batista is a little too inexperienced. Re: Renuncia El Coco Chamullero or not, he is the most capable coach to spot players and form cohesive teams. What he did forming Tigre (ascenso and 2nd place), Argentinos (return to int'l competitions) and Newells (fighting for the title this year) can never be underestimated. To know that he brought to Tigre Morel from 3rd division is enuff ... But that is a different story when it comes to the NT. As to Basile leaving ... it is sad that he lost his temper and focus ... lost his principles of how teams are formed and finally lost the players in his confusion. But at this point, with 99% of the media against him, there is little that could motivate him to fight back and straighten the ship. No way on earth could Simeone be the coach. He is a nervous breakdown. Russo will not quit San Lorenzo to take the NT, in their centenary year. Batista? Hmm, he for sure would take it, yet I'm not sure he is ready to take these players. Ramon Diaz would be an excellent choice, as Bianchi wouldn't take it either ... .
