If he resigns, then I respect him, it shows he has some dignity left.

If he doesn't resign, ******** him!

I am cool with Diego near the team, for all that he is and he represents to our futbol. But as far as coaching the team, hell no!

    Carlos Bianchi, please!

    Re: Renuncia El Coco

I want Miguel Angel Russo (let's be realistic, no way its going to be Bianchi or Ramon)
can't stand simeone, dont think maradona would be good, unless he was just a motivator and somebody else did everything lol
cagna is another possiblity but unlikely. Batista is a little too inexperienced. I heard some people throwing around bilardo's name and stuff like that and IMO we don't need these old coaches, we need a new player that adapts better to today's game
And odio a Caruso (un chamullero HDP)

    News:

No por favor... keep him far away... diego will just get it into his head that he is coach and will put keep his son-in-law on the team even if he doesn't score a game in 20 games!!!

I think that Batista as coach and Maradona as a special invited guest (similar to what he did for the Olympics) would be an awesome gift to the Argentine public.

    Re: Renuncia El Coco

Chamullero or not, he is the most capable coach to spot players and form cohesive teams.

What he did forming Tigre (ascenso and 2nd place), Argentinos (return to int'l competitions) and Newells (fighting for the title this year) can never be underestimated.

To know that he brought to Tigre Morel from 3rd division is enuff ...

But that is a different story when it comes to the NT.

As to Basile leaving ... it is sad that he lost his temper and focus ... lost his principles of how teams are formed and finally lost the players in his confusion. But at this point, with 99% of the media against him, there is little that could motivate him to fight back and straighten the ship.

No way on earth could Simeone be the coach. He is a nervous breakdown. Russo will not quit San Lorenzo to take the NT, in their centenary year. Batista? Hmm, he for sure would take it, yet I'm not sure he is ready to take these players.

Ramon Diaz would be an excellent choice, as Bianchi wouldn't take it either ...
