Same here i never thought Honduras would win in Mexico, i mean i got excited as hell when they scored but in the back of my mind i was waiting mexico to score, besides the Semis have just started we still got plenty of games to play.

LOL i am serious you think Mexico is gonna come out attacking against a faster opponent and a hostile crowd, last time you guys did that well it eneded 3-1 in Honduras and 2-1 In the gold cup.

I think Honduras played a great game and could've put us away.

Then again, I thought Mexico played better for most of the game and the players got desperate at one point but they earned a deserved victory.

Once again, my respects to Honduras and also truly believe that they have what it takes to fight for that third qualifying spot.

No sean gachos y aprendan a perder catrachos, pero no bajen la cabeza.

Mexico was the better team but Honduras could've won this game. When the game was 1-0 Honduras had a chance to make it 2-0 but they couldn't convert and then Pardo scored an amazing goal. These qualifiers will be very hard for every team as seen in all the matches in this first round.

Nice game, am glad we are in the group of dead, we get to play against better competition therefore making the games more exciting.

Honduras did what they had to do, counter attack, for a second I thought it was going to work for them but you can't defend for 90 minutes.

Its gonna be a whole different story in Honduras, where will have to attack. Am predicting that Guardado will have a great game, we will be able to use his speed in the counter attack.

(the guys below explained it better)

Anyway,Good game to Honduras.Had me worried after they scored.IMO,if they didn't depend on the counter attack, the game would've been different.Good game though.

He doesnt need to touch it in order to interfere...I think Mexico got a break

They showed numerous replays and he wasn't offside.

The foul that led to the second goal wasn't really a foul but the calls evened out given that the ref failed to call a handball in the box and 2 plays where he should've let the play continue.

Temoc wasnt offside when Pardo kicked it and nobody else touched it. If temoc had touched it, it still would have been legal.

Auxilio!

It was not offside, watch the replay... Mexico got a break??? I hope you DVRed the game, watch it again, look for some hand balls...

I have to recognize, honduras played well. I was dissapointed in Mexico but I am finding some relief in the fact that it is their first game. We should have beaten them more convincingly. Still happy.

how did mexico not play better? they dominated almost every aspect of the game. The score board could have looked way uglier than it did for you guys.

Honduras may have been playing smarter, they bunkered and waited for a questionable foul on Leandro for the golazo

other than that they barely knocked on the door.

Mexico on the other hand, hit the post and missed various clear shots at goal, so i the case of finishing, neither did good, but Mexico was better in that they scored 2. In the case of control and opportunities on the attack, Mexico blew them away.
