I figured it was about time to start this thread with the season just around the corner. Anyone who wants in, please subscribe and indicate your team preference. Also, if we can spread the word around and get more people involved it would be a better experience for all considering the amount of vacant teams we had last season.

As Montpellier seem doomed to stay forever in L2 I'll take Nantes.

You predict results for each fixture, and you're awarded goals for picking them right. Your opponent is the same as who your team is playing in real life. Here, I'll do an example. I'm Nantes, so I'm playing Auxerre (not picked yet). The first thing to do is to take the list of the weekend fixtures and make predictions on them: here's an example using next weekend's first round of games. Auxerre 1-1 Nantes Bordeaux 3-0 Caen Le Havre 0-1 Nice Le Mans 0-0 Lorient Monaco 2-1 PSG Nancy 1-1 Lille Rennes 1-2 Marseille Sochaux 1-0 Grenoble Valenciennes 1-0 Saint Etienne Lyon 3-1 Toulouse Your opponent will also pick results. You get one point for picking the right result and an extra point for getting the score exactly right. Whoever gets more points wins and gets three points in the standings.

Allez Lyonnais will probably play. If those three come through, we still need 8 more players. If you know anybody who would enjoy it, please send them a PM and invite them in. This game is no fun unless nearly all the teams are in use. I will be happy to do as much recruiting as I can until the teams are full, but I cannot do the standings and results each week. Somebody else will have to volunteer for that.

Anyway, if everyone agrees, I'm willing to do the table again, and I'm sorry I was not present when you chose teams. I'm willing to be any team, even l'OL. Though if Allez Lyonnais is taking them, I'll go with PSG (though if Carefree 95 wants that, I'll go with, hmmm, Rennes).
