like sid said Bottom line is.. MLS sucks i live in L.A. and i have never and i will never attend a game EVER
Good for you Chompi, I lived in New York and Houston and have never gone and never will go to a MLS game.
I live about 30 minutes away from where the San jose Earth quakes play and I will never attend a game
There is no comparison between the CCC and the Hanna Barbera Cup. CCC is an official tournament while StupidLiga was created to gain money and create a NON-existing rivalry. It's not our fault that the MLS chooses to play by a different calender compared to the rest of the world.
We would have cried foul about the referees but we wouldn't have assumed they were bought. Gambling on the game? Maybe but not simple bribes. The refereeing was atrocious but I don't think it was that one-sided. If it was, Joseph would of had a penalty. I have a question. If Chivas beats Barca, is that a meaningless pre-season friendly.
Atletico Madrid played friendlies in mexico like 2 weeks ago and they lost all the games but one have you seen anyone brag about those games anywhere in this forum?
What PK? Atlante was robbed of that clear PK and at least 2 offsides that were clear opportunities to score. The refs clearly favored the home team. No doubt at all. Of course it is. Mexican teams have beaten top European sides, hell Pumas beat Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and we never made any comments about closing the gap. Anyone knows that kind of thinking is ridiculous.
Correct Nobody is making comparisons between CCC and "StupidLiga", CCC was brought into the topic as a reference to highlight the first Houston and Pachuca match. Correct and Yes! SUM are milking the shit out of FMF teams and the Mexican National team on US soil and they are making allot of money. I know, its not your fault
With that being said, let me ask you this, do you think all the victories the US has gotten over Mexico on US soil really makes you guys superior? I mean if we recognize that Stupid Liga is a bullshit tournament for many reasons, one of them being that its played solely on US soil. Do all the victories gained by the US in all those marketed friendlies really make you guys better and officially "close the gap"? And I know youll probably bring up the recent Gold Cup victory but that too was held in the US. When have you guys won down south?
MLS is pathetic and a joke all in all i find it hilarious that they come up with stupid Mickey Mouse tournament to get some international rivalry going idiots hopefully this is the last year this stupid and useless so called tournament is held Mexican teams get nothing out of this what so ever
Its a lot more than a couple of MLS fans. For you to sit here and claim otherwise is plain ignorance on your part.
Mexico is gonna have some a hard time in WCQ not only because of their opponents, but did you guys see the level of refereeing in the superliga it's the horrible. Those refs are making a mockery out of Concacaf.
The ref that was assigned for the Pachuca and houston goons is also set to ref the Mexico vs Jamaica game.Wonder what will happen there.
Yes, and a black person is running for president. Yet, racism and racial tention is probably at a really high point. Especially by ignorant faks that decide to blame immigrants for everything that happens. It's really pathetic. For example look up my local newspaper www.naplesdailynews.com and a day doesn't pass that someone somewhere says something derrogartory about immigrants. Even if the story deals with someone that is here legally, all the faks think is: Hispanic features or last name = immigrant or illegal alien.
“First of all, it’s a bad team,” Wilbon opined. “Second of all, you have this history of bigotry against African-American people in Boston. The only place I’ve ever been confronted, multiple times, and been called the n-word to my face, is specifically the Boston Garden.... The fact is, Boston has that history, and black players know that, and they do not want to go voluntarily to Boston.” When asked by Patrick whether he thought that perception factored into Garnett’s unwillingness to be traded here, Wilbon said, “I know it does. Yeah. Sure. Absolutely.” He later added that racism “might have been our issue at one point, but now it’s [Boston’s] issue.” Read the comments left by your fellow Bostonians.
All of y'all should be embarrassed. I am embarrassed for you. This happens every single time an American team bests a Mexican side. Why can't you all rise above it? Some of you are acting almost as bad as Pachuca and Atlante acted on the field. Some of you guys are worse. They lost. Get over it. And please spare me the victims of racism rhetoric, and the pissing contest to see which town or what people are more racist. It was very obvious to me that the teams that played better in the semis were the teams that won. Some of think just like the teams do, that all they have to do is show up to stadium to get the win. How is that working out for the you and the teams so far?
