btw, word is that Trinidad's second goal was scored off a restart allowed WHILE Bermuda was making a substitution.

    Stunning? Not so much.

    Here we go.

Did you even see the match? Better yet did you see the first leg when Bermuda scored their second goal into an open net while goalkeeper Clayton Ince lay prone on the ground after a challenge by the Bermudan striker?

Here let me help you. While we're at it, we should probably admit that Darryl Roberts first half goal was scored at the critical moment in between the 9th and 10 minute when the alignment of the moon makes the Bermuda triangle shift and swallow up all spherical objects destined for the keeper's gloves before allowing them to reappear with exactly four seconds delay in the same time space conundrum...

    Poor Bermudans...

El Salvador get one back to tie Panama off a free kick, 1-1 in the 70th minute. Probably too little, too late, but the crowd sure is excited.

Peneda makes a great save in the 74th minute, and before he can get up off the turf, a Salvadoran player heads the rebound OVER the open net !

In the 80th minute, Carlos Rivera gets red carded! Panama down to 10 men. El Salvador converts the penalty kick and leads 2-1. Panama would win the series based on the away goal they got in the 15th minute---if it holds!

That was quite the finish! Too bad that the player from El Salvador felt the need to take such a horrible dive at the end there, and what's worse is that the ref fell for it.

The Trinidad goal vs Bermuda was a very unsportsman like goal but the ref allowed it so it's not much you can say about Trinidad. They were definitely the better team and shouldn't have needed a dodgy goal to win. However the Bermuda boys should feel proud. They gave T&T a run for their money. Our players just need a bit more exposure. Hopefully a few more of them can make it to the MLS at least. It will only help. We only have one pro.

Panama joins St. Kitts and Nevis as countries that were eliminated two rounds earlier this cycle than last cycle.

That penalty that was the second goal wasn't a good call, either. It was an exciting match anyway.
