Props to the Boricuas, they´re no longer a CONCACAF also-ran. Keep moving foward.

You do realize that they're coming up against other nations? It's not quite like having a kick in the park, or base, or whatever it is you're doing?

Exactly I know we aint Brazil or anything close, but damn we have to stop playing a bunch of amature players and start profecional caliber players to use. Dude we dont you come tryout for a PRSL team and see if you even make the cut there and become a pro. OR a USL 2 or 1 team and see if you make it in, I seriously want our futbol to improve and the era of amature players is about to pass and we have to look foward to a fully pro NT

I'm getting the impression you thought I was having a dig at you and/or Puerto Rico. Trust me, I wasn't. I'm quite prepared to come and try out for Puerto Rico if thats what you want. Although I'm not sure my powers that be will be all that impressed. Puerto Rico is a beautiful place. Get behind their football team, like I am. Don't become all smartass. I don't like that. :)

The Puerto Rico Soccer League is gona help us develope profesional caliber player, and maybe get some players overseas.

Sorry. I wasn't meaning to appear obnoxious. :)

Puerto Rico are doing everything within their resources to professionally get the national team on it's feet. I want to see that happen. I was just taken aback by that posters remarks, as light hearted as I'm sure (hope) they were. I think 2010 is stretching it a bit but if Magath thinks he can make a difference and it's all amicable then do it. :)

Today Puerto Rico turned another page in its soccer history.
It been one of the proudest days for me. Proud of the team and the effort.
Kids that are still in college or just finished....like Cabrero(19?), Ehrlicks, Martinez, Horta, Gadiel Figueroa,...etc
Should've been a penalty kick at the end of the game when they took down Megaloudis? Any thoughts.

EXCELLENT result. PR just needs to keep the ball rolling.

I'm so excited for this new league to get under way. Some great atheletes in Puerto Rico, and this new leaggue will not only develop talent, but hopefully attract other atheletes to take part in football. And as a bonus get a bigger fan base.

With results like these, the Islanders getting into the Champions League, and a new leaugue up and coming, the future is bright for Puerto Rican football.
If the ball keeps rolling like this, I believe that Puerto Rico (as well as Grenada) will become forerunners in the CFU in about 2-3 years.....and after that start making their stamps in CONCACAF.

    Big up Puerto Rico!!
