You sure can't blame them for choosing their own country.

no you dont have to be a member of UN to be a meber of uefa and fifa, and scotland prooves this. scotland is not a member of UN but they are members of both FIFA and UEFA

To be accepted in UEFA you have to be a "country which is recognised by the United Nations as an independent state". I don't think Kosova is.

    :)

What about England? Northern Ireland? Wales? Check those. Maybe those are not recognized either.

Then use your superior thinking and try to figure out why.

And let me repeat that these are not mine, yours or bigsoccer rules. These are UEFA laws which you can easily find yourself.

:) ok I'll give the answer

xyzfutboll check "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", maybe they're in the UN. Then check who "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" includes, besides the obvious Northern Ireland.

ok smart ass, let me brake it down to you.
switzerland is not part of any kingdoms, or unions and was not part of UN up untill 2002 but still was part of uefa and fifa way before that.

serbia is part of UN, so does that mean that now kosova is also automatically part of UN? i mean since the independece is not recognized by serbi and UN?

I do not get what are you trying to prove? That the UEFA law is wrong? It is on their website, I did not write it.

Stop jumping from one thing to another. Everything is based on laws and if you do a little research you will get your your answer Einstein.

Now answering your questions again (which wouldn't have been necessary if you could actually read), Switzerland doesn't have to be a UN memeber but only needs to be "recognised by the United Nations as an independent state" (as written in the UEFA law).

Kosova has been apart from Serbia for 10 years and has been under UN administration as an autonomous province. I'm sure that if Kosova accepts to be in a union with Serbia, then maybe they will get a change to get in UN.

    Jump to another country now.

They might leave if Kosova can actually participate in qualifiers, but that will take some years.

    in your dreams
your crazy man, ofcourse they are going to leave and represent their country. every kosovar has been waiting for the independence and get the oppertunity to represent our own country. we fought and died for that land and you think they wont represent it? haha your nuts
i guarantee you that as soon as EURO 2012 qualifications start(which will be in september 2010) that every kosovar footballer wil want to represent kosova. even valon behrami, perparim hetmaj, faton toski and ect. have all said they want to play for kosova as soon as we are able to compete in international competitions

thats what i was going to say also. Behrami is a SOB and he is not Albanian to me. He said that even if Kosova gets the chance to play in a major tournament he will not join the team. He loves the country but its going to be hard for him to switch the jerseys. what a fukin clown. seriously people need to stop dreaming about these players. OO they did not play for Albania because they are not from Albania they are from Kosova shit WTF does that have to do with anything. Look at the other players. Lorik Canen njehere e pjell nena. Ska me llafe Legjende. NJE KOMB NJE KOMBETARE.

I don't understand these people that are still proud about Behrami, Gercalliu and the media that still writes articles about them participating in EURO 2008.

I care about Behrami or Gercalliu as much as I do about any player in the Swiss or Austrian NT.

I don't know about you but anytime Behrami touched the ball I was rooting for him even though I wanted the Czechs to win because I bet money on them. I didn't feel the same for Frei or any other Swiss player. Same for Gerxhalliu. Per mua ata do jene gjithmone Shqiptare.

Now if they played for Greece that's a whole different matter. Players like Nini & Kone iu befte haram qumeshti i nenes.

I didn't see them any different form the rest of the players. For Gercalliu I was just curious to see what kind of player he was, since I had never seen him, but that's about it.
