Whats with the insult, I have noting but praises for Marco, who designed and made the Marco Velez tribute banner which is gonna be use today in the Islanders game? The person typing this message did. No need to be all aggressive, I was just stating that he its its first ever MLS goal, not just of this season.

Intru, Santero gracias for your comments . I read with interest your posts.
Glad Velez is getting his footing. He didn't have a good game vs. the Galaxy and Landon.
    Pa'rriba Marco.
Got some news. Reynaldo Rueda (coach of Honduras) will travel to PR this week to watch the Islanders.
Honestly, the chances are few that los Boricuas will get through the tie.
But now, Joe Serralta, federation pres. is awaiting a FIFA ruling on Dominican protests on the qualifying match as to who can wear the shirt. This is a laughable attempt by the RD federation to win the game on the administrative side.
According to one inside source, a Concacaf official (who shall remain unnamed) asked if all the players had Puerto Rican passports. Ignorance, thy name is .....

I grew up in San Juan and continued the sport when I migrated. I ended up working in soccer, and played some semi-pro. Have traveled the world, covered 6 World Cups and did a story that came out on Futbol Mundial about the Islanders. I look forward to the nat'l team games vs. Honduras, although los catrachos have the talent to get to the WC, I just hope PR can play well.

I thought this protest had already come to an end 3 or 4 weeks ago

    Fifa must be a joke

how can PR (or even the DR) prepare the game against Honduras seriously if they have no idea who will qualify?

Here are the uniforms and the shields. I like them. Very classy and professional. Hopefully this league gets a lot of promotion.

But WTF is this "Giants de Carolina" crap. Either stick to spanish or english, don't mix them .

Here's a picture from the press conference:

Les deseo el mayor de los exitos. I find weird that SJ Atleticos have 4 stars on its sheild. I went to a RPPR last year and there were about 50 people watching the game. I hope it goes better this time. Why aren't they following the FIFA schedule?
There is no more Baseball in PR. I think they are missing a huge opportunity.

I like it, finaly we will have a respectabel Qualy process for the CFU.

I understand that the catrachos are bringing in overseas players to the
PR-Honduras. Puerto Rico has a great opportunity to make a stand in the CONCACAF.
