I am just so happy at this point that none of the DC TV news stations report DC United results.

    Just so very, very happy.

I'm not sure there is anything to say after that. That was a disgrace.

That was some of the worst soccer I've ever seen a DC United team play.

I hope this was just an aberration.

At least that abomination is over. WTF was Soehn thinking with that lineup? Let us never speak of that again. Somehow, I think we will.

I never realized how absolutely craptastic RSL's turf is. That's the second astrojump goal I've seen today.

And of course the announcers can't figure out why a team that relies on possession would consistently have a hard time playing in a stadium where control is limited by the field conditions. I lost track of how many passes failed to reach players due to a superball bounce or unexpected zip.

And when the hell did sh!t ger re-censored?

Is there gonna be a Soehn press conference or are we already getting on the plane back to DC?

DC United players needs to learn to pass to a player wearing the same jersey as them. they also need to learn to cross. 10 chances missed tonight.

and don't get me started with the fake turf and throwball lines, misery to watch.

What the hell was that. the 3-4-3, no martinez on defence, poor communication, no passes from gallardo. yes i understand the whole turf thing but seriously. we played like crap. We had better chances in the attacking third with Tino and Niell in the last 25min. Just a total crappy performance. We better get our crap together for thursday.

Ok, seriously. Before this game I was going to post that I expected a loss, but I didn't want to be accused of being negative. This team has some good pieces. The problem is that many other teams in this league have greatly improved. RSL is a prime example. They outplayed both of their first 2 opponents, and simply didn't come up with a win. It was a matter of time before they stomped someone, and we were ripe for the picking. This is a long season. With Superliga and CCL looming in the summer, this team had better start picking up some wins ........ because this team is not good enough to be in a dogfight for the playoffs at the same time that they are playing split squad games in those tournaments. This year, MLS is absolutely WIDE OPEN. We better get used to a dogfight every week. I don't know what the front office plans to do with that DP spot, but they better start scouring the earth pronto.

I've used DK and the DVR to watch every match I could since this season has started. And that was the worst I've seen any team play this season. Yes, worse than Toronto played here. Yes, even worse than LA @ Colorado in the league opener. That was a "not fit to wear the shirt" kind of performance.

You know, a lot of people complain that soccer is a low scoring game.

Why couldn't this one have been?

Lessions learned #1: Never Ever try 3 back.

I liked McTavish in the CB last year.

use him as a CB back up, and pair him up with either Peralta or Martinez when either of them is not playing.

Today's line up was just fcuked up

Thank God we'll never have to play in that stadium again! Spartan Stadium and OSU Stadium did the same to United. Don't be upset by tonight, its hard to play United ball on that kind of surface. Having to hold out two starters due to conditions should be all that is said about this match. No other explanation is necessary.
