Good translation. Only correction I would make is that you don't mean "bored." "Acuartelar" is essentially "quarter."

La misma servirá para entrenar y acuartelar los equipos nacionales,

The facility will [serve/be used] to train and quarter the national teams,

"Quarter" generally means to house. Did you mean "board," meaning to feed? (for example, room and board) Sorry, didn't mean to go into a big language lesson. Just the professor/lawyer in me. Plus, too much time on my hands tonight.

    !Viva Borinquen!

hehe I do the same thing. It's not fun to translate large portions of text. Usually I get 20 cents a word to do that :D

Following the complaint by the president of the dominican soccer federation, the FIFA has given the Puertorican Federation a few days to prove that their players were eligible to play

To play for a country according to fifa rules, players have to

1- be born in the country
or 2- have ancestors with citizenship
or 3- have at least 2 years in the country

    I don t think so

If dominicana plays by the rule, so should all other countries

The Fifa will take the ultimate decision

We played by the rules, you guys just whine because you lost, flopping around on the field like it was a ********ing swimming competition. aWIth a President that dosnt respect player, grabbing and verbally abusing PR players, he should be thrown out.

The FIFA will barely care about the issue PR is fine and all the paperwork is in orders, you guys are gonna look bad just like in 92.

If there is it isnt probably gonna be as even as the other one, Islanders have a game that day, so none of their player will probably show, maybe some of the MLS player and collage players, but it looks like its just gonna be the local players so a TnT win should be expected.

Yes of course the president of the dominican federation should be suspended for his post game behaviour

(Did the puerto rico federation already send a complaint to Fifa?)

and if Puerto Rico played the game by the Fifa rules, they have absolutely nothing to fear

Anyway, if the DR should advance to play against Honduras, it would be a stupid situation once again without playing the home match on dominican soil

Fifa will have the last word,

and we all hope Osiris Guzman gets suspended

im sorry to say but Honduras will whoop that ass, this is to much fire power.

PRNT has lots to do for 2014, you cant create a base that quickly that can compete with a base of work thats been created for years.

Honduras beat paraguay and Colombia , teams that can easily humilate PR, that squeezed by DR..

WOW, I know we are going get owned by Honduras, but squezed by DR? My friend we had like 89% posetion DR was playing with 11 men on defense, for all the game, we out performed them in every aspect. DR spent as much time playing as they did wasting time on the ground.

What's the point of this post? Besides coming here to talk shit. We know that PR is probably not going to get past Honduras. Thanks for the incredible insight and analysis .

Thanks very much for the information. I haven't been back to the island in a couple years--sounds like a good excuse to go (as if seeing my family weren't enough).

I think you are overrating them too much friendlies dont mean nothing, qualifiers are a whole different animal, no disrespect to Honduras because they are talented but they would probably get raped in Conmebol qualifying.

Plus we all know Honduras sometimes tends to under perform against weaker opposition, of course they are expected to win and probably will but I can see PR giving them a battle in Puerto Rico.

If St Vincents gave Mexico a fight in St Vincents, I dont see why a very improved PR couldnt make Honduras sweat.

St. Vincent really didn't give Mexico a fight. They scored and then decided to watch out for the kicks of the St. Vincent players. I hated Mexicos lackadaisical attitude in that game but St. Vincent never came close to scoring at all. It was an easy game.
