Wot an Fn game that was! Pompey smash and grab but really were excellent esp first half hour when Man U were running it, obv not as talented a team but really did a job that a team with less ability on the ball couldn't have done.
Sure Man U shuda had 2 pens, and despite not forcing calamity to do much shuda had a couple, and yes Kuksuk shudn't have been sent off (but that guy such a mug it was prolly fot the best!), and yes the goal came from 2 bad decisions (Roon and kuksuk), BUT u really can't begrudge Pompey- any team that can go to Old Trafford with jabroni's like Glenn Johnsonhead, Solitude and Calamity, as well as the dispicable Lauren, AND still make up for it with their talent, fair play!
Reckon Man U wuda played better if more at stake- they'd much rather have the carrot of a guaranteed Villa Park for a semi than that hole daaan saaaf!

    No trebles this season ....

I'm gutted we are out. Missed the game because i was at work. I'm waiting for the highlights to come on MOTD. Good on Barnsley for beating Chelsea though. There certainly have been some decent cup upsets this season.

I have now watched MOTD ....

United certainly had their chances to end the game!! Which is really frustrating!

Got to say though, I felt that the leg was left in for the Penalty. So now im even more gutted that we lost. Because we really had a chance to wrap the game up on more than one occassion and to loose to a crap penalty like that!!

At least Rio went the right way though!! I think they should have put Rooney in goal! He likes to throw himself about.

    GUTTED!!

No ... he left his leg in.

Anyone else think its a disgrace that the semis are going to be played at Wembley as well as the final? Its gay. The whole point is you work hard to get to Wembley.

Glad that the baggies have gone through though. I'd like to see an all Championship final this season.

West Brom's third goal was about 10 million miles offside. These active/inactive rules are bollocks and should be binned. If you're offside, you're offside.

I was running, it dropped out of my pocket, hit the deck and it seems to have something stuck in the Headphone jack. Now I get no sound. Gonna send it away for repair. I have a Classic to keep me satisfied until then though.

the funniest thing about the pompey peno was that the main contact was actually baros kneeing kuksuk in the head, which Baros should be applauded for doing! Such an idiotic foul by the keeper as u could tell by Baros's body language he had no chance of scoring, and certainly believed he wouldn't...Interestingly Valdes commited a near-identical foul for Barca but didn't get sent off...Not that it woulda affected the result but pretty sure Ben Foster has been offered to any team that would take him on loan for a reason, and if VanD is out injured whilst dude is suspended, it could get UGLY!
Due to the holiday break, postponed fixtures and a BAD run of performances, today we had our first win since november. I chipped the keeper from 30 yards with my first touch in the first minute, only for it to bounce onto the xbar and back into his hands. Second half I hit a left foot volley from about the same distance, one of those where a spooned clearance went a mile in the air, I caught it plumb as everyone stood and watched, it bent, dipped into the top corner, only the same sodding keeper was stood nearpost side and just plucked it out the air...
Didn't score but don't think it's a coincidence our return to form happened as i bought the Gold Vapor2s out of temporary retirement (they don't have many games left in them lol, so I kinda use them like Real used Zizou in 05!).

Probably not too many watching since the games were at the weekend... I won't tell you the scores and spoil it though.
