I think the distance thing would be the real problem not having the little islands play.... Honduras shouldnt be in the same group with say a Paraguay or Uruguay...... but when the World Cup does happen they are just going to get pown'd like they would have in qualifiers. It should be the best teams

and having Colombia, Uruguay, Chile there would def be more benificial and sure Fifa would make more money than having Trinidad, Honduras or Guatamala (all teams with Colombian coachs, and Colombia didnt even want a colombian coach... we just didnt have the money to get a better one... dam chileans )

Totally agree with the reasons you give, except for the amount of teams, if there was a merge it would involve 45 places, not very different from the numbers of UEFA(53), AFC(46) and CAF(52).

This is not going to be a good year for Mexican teams, Chivas has a lot of injured players and it's playing with mostly youngsters. Atlas was last place in the last temporada and they still suck, as for America, they still have no defense.

So i see Chivas and America maybe getting past the group stage, but not on first place. past that, will depend on how healthy Chivas is by then.

Hey fu*ker, at least have the conmebolas to say "mexican" teams, There is no other concacaf teams in libertadores other than MeXiCo. So spare us and say Mexican teams. Thank you, apreciate it. Also thanks for your concern on our hard tavels, wow thanks for caring, i feel your compassion. Let us do wat we do and you do wat you do, and settle it in the cancha. God pray for us when our little mexican teams play your TOP GUNS. I think we have, for a few years now, check the results.

P.S. River will have america twice, Boca could have atlas twice. And santos will have my little chivas. We'll se wa happens.
