Oh, come now, there was a time, just last season I believe, that we didn't suck. And, if we did, what did that say about hibs, hm?

I'm not going to argue with you about this year, even though following a bad Hearts side is still much better than being a Hibee :p

Gor, what a lousy match against Gretna, what a letdown. I believe now is the time to begin drinking heavily.

I was reading today about possible communication problems during the match. So Frail (on the sideline) actually has to get instructions through an interpreter from Korobochka (in the upstairs box). I didn't realize he couldn't speak English. I feel for Frail, who doesn't have the authority to run the team from the sideline without calling upstairs for instructions. That's a messed up situation.

I've got nothing against Russians (I speak Russian myself), but I don't want Hearts to become Heartski (сердца?). I don't want our homegrown talent being sent away for political reasons and a bunch of ex-Soviet (or otherwise) retreads taking their places. Bleah. At least Karapidis got benched. Спасибо!

So Jambos, are we back, or what? I mean, what a result against Rangers!

It seems that we finally got whatever was bugging us out of our system, and are finally playing as a team. I daresay nobody in the SPL is going to take their Hearts fixture lightly again.

Nice sentiment my Jambo friend but the trusth is the result against The Hun was a positive blip on an otherwise downward spiral.:(

If we don't get relegated I'll, regretably but realistically, accept that's where we belong. There's too many sh!t players of non-Scots origin in the side.

The worst thing is, John Collins has made a profit in the transfer market and has a side that could realistically finish third!:mad:

I'm a Jambo 'till I die but have no faith in either the team or the powers that be and the sooner there's a top to toe clear out the better.

Buck up, brutha, I don't think it's as bad as that. Yes, there's a lot to worry about, but just looking at the last three fixtures, there's a lot to be happy about -- 9 pts in three matches, and the prospect of another 3 in the next fixture.

Yes, we could use some more homegrown talent, but we've got a fair side, and we'll definitely finish 5th or better. Plus, we'll get our own back against the hobos, and all will be right with the world.

How many Hearts tattoos have you got? I've got 3, the club crest, the Scottish Cup and the two dates when we last won it. I'm as maroon as they come but at the moment we're sh1t. When I'm an old man on my death bed (next Tuesday at this rate!) I'll be able to say " I saw Hearts win the Cup, twice" but If I live another 10 years I doubt I'll be able to refer to three pieces of silverwear!:(

    You are hardcore, brutha Jambo!

I'm not a tattoo kinda guy, but if I got one, it would be the club crest right over my own heart.

How often do you travel to Tynie?

Not as often as I'd like to, I now live in Norwich, England so it's a bit far. But I don't need to visit, there's always a piece of Tynecastle in my heart!;)

When I get a bit down, as I do at this time of year (I suffer from S.A.D.) I imagine a few pints in The Diggers and a 4-0 victory over the unwashed from Leith [7th August 2005] and my spirits are refreshed!!:D

Well, in the interest of keeping your spirits up (and all other Hearts supporters) we will refrain from discussing the #&%@#! Inverness match.

For the sake of my sanity, I will choose to believe that that was the aberration. ::shudder::

Come on, stop playing down to the level of the opposition. You're not good enough yet not to take everybody seriously!

We could blame the 'rotation' policy but it's more of a random selection process from what I can see. The players don't play together enough to form partnerships, the team's forever changing for no apparent reason. I reckon Stevie Frail is neering the end of his tether with the decisions made by the 'management' team.

I certainly would be at the end of mine in his position. What is it with Russian owners? Why do they feel compelled to be such micro-managers? Look, that's what you hire a staff to do -- let them do it! Frail's a good guy, he doesn't deserve what he's had to put up with.

I think the meddling has got into the players' heads, and they aren't playing with as much spirit as they could be doing. Add that to the lack of cohesiveness, and you've got a recipe for problems.

The dressing room is in chaos apparently, the Jocks don't mix with the Lithuanians, who don't mix with the non-Jock/Lithuanians, who don't mix with the Jocks!

If we don't get relegated I'll give a sigh of relief but where's the Scottish core of our once great and proud club?

They had the gall to talk back to the Tsar and have been scattered to the winds.

There's a Scottish core to the future club, though, on the U-19 squad. Barely a Lithuanian to be seen there.

I guess we're going through the pain that many fan of many sports go through -- do we have idiots in charge? Please tell us you have a plan! A good plan! Please show us that you are competent!

Btw: Valdas has already been fired in Jena. I really start losing my sympathies for the club (the BMG ultras have got a friendship with their ultras)...

    Pretty much.

The good news is we don't have to play Gretna every week, and therefore have a chance of not being relegated.

I think it was a mistake for Hearts to sell their "soul" to a foreign investor.

I can only hope that Celtic won't do the same in the future...
