I think part of the problem is AVAILABILITY as Crdz and others mention. Sometimes the NT jersey doesnt look all that great but when you go into a Nike/Adidas store, it's tons of choices sportswear from England, Brazil, Arg, Holland, Spain, etc. The FMF did so much marketing in the last 5-10 years to create it's own brand! So much so, that it was Adidas that approached their federation when they realized how much opportunity they were missing. I think next to Brazil, it is the best selling NT jersey. How cool would it be if lotto truly licensed their gear so that people could buy jumpers, training shirts, etc. I WANT CHOICES. I WANT AVAILABILITY. Colombia is a top 50 footballing country. It has plenty of players abroad. It has A MARKET with over 40Million Colombians around the planet. What gives?!
i was in colombia for 3 weeks and people dont rock colombia stuff its all argentina/italy/ath nacional or real madrid shit they rock but in their defense their are no colombia merchandise any were. the only thing i found there that i couldnt find here in the states are pibe gear but all my cousins were trying to buy my le coq sportif jacket i had.... its not just lotto its colombians dont really rock our nt stuff.... i went into the Athletico Nacional store in medellin and it was soooooo cool then went to the lotto stores and it was a joke i was kinda sad. I wanted a colombia gym bag but u can only get it if u buy the little kid one
yea hopefully nike sponsors next. and colombia is #17th now on FIFA..nice. but the jerseys are not that bad.
Its cuz they think the Colombia NT is a joke, so they rock NT's that they think kick ass. but iv'e been looking for a long sleeve Colombia jersey its impossible.
i think that its kinda normal though because they are in colombia and everyone is colombian... here in the US its different because of how many different nationalities we have so everyone wears their jersey to represent their country i do agree that you cant find the jersey anywhere over there.... in the downtown areas they have alot of bootleg stuff of colombia NT but its hard to find the original jersey.... one reason is that alot of people think its too much money for the jersey

why change if we are the better Nt haha so many teams wear yellow haha its in our flag dude I like our uniforms but Lotto needs to start making more Colombia stuff so they can take my money cause i am getting tried of giving it all to Nintendo i dont even think that if we had adidas we would find alot of colombia stuff because no one wears it in our own country guys... people have lost their love for the Nt cause we have been so bad for 8 years ..... think after the next 4 games we will change that.... because the hurt of copa america is still really close to everyone
they havent really ever worn colombia stuff though... even when we were good they dont even celebrate the colombian independence the way that we do here in queens and hackensack and all over the US where they close parks n shit

its not that no one wants to sponsor us its that Lotto put up the most money to do so I want Adidas uniforms( ours is basically a yellow mexico uniform) and for them to sell like Retro jerseys

I believe the decision was between Lotto and Nike, but Lotto offered more money like someone here said. I don't care who makes the damn uniform, I just wish it would be more widely available.........I wouldn't like adidas to do ours because it would murder our "all yellow" jersey. I just wouldn't like the three shoulder and sleeve lines in our team's jersey.....If somehow someway that could be avoided, I would be fine but it's not likely. Look how hideous the first Paraguayan jersey's looked when they didn't adjust their decision. It was so bad that they changed the design already.

the material on the new jersey sucks,,,i only wore it like 3 times and it looks like the threads are coming out....i have the original lotto jersey bootleg that i bought at a store in elizabeth for $40 and it still looks good even though i washed it mad times. We need Nike not adidas...Nike makes original jerseys for each country, but adidas they all use the same template. The material on the second lotto jersey was gay, all shiny and shit...
