In his comments he says he has confirmation from the OnGoal organization. That's good enough for me (I just wanted to see it in the story as not everyone reads the comments). A yellow accent is fine, IMO.

I must not be seeing what you are. I reread the comments, and I don't see where there is actual confirmation from OnGoal...he mentions it is still speculation at this point. Did I miss something? Anyway, I'll believe it when they officially show the new jerseys on the website or if someone in the FO (like Robb or Sam) posts a picture on BS. I am holding off on buying a jersey until I see what the new ones look like....:).

but I guess that could be taken a few ways... though it seems to indicate he talked to someone in the FO. But it would be nice if he had a picture...

There is an element of yellow, yes. I'm the source. He asked me a question based on some stuff he noticed on MLSNet.com, and I answered that, yes, there is an *element* of yellow. He did some good investigative research, and it was rewarded. Geeze, people eat their own here. If the guy, who you don't know, says something in making an statement, let it stand or fall on its own merit, don't scream at him.

I've sent Brian a PM earlier today to better explain where I am coming from with my ... criticism(hopefully constructive).

I didn't see any screaming. Just a question by George. A valid one. Thanks for clarifying.

The screaming was more in the blog comments.

I see. Then maybe comments referring to the blog should be posted in the blog? Less confusion that way.

The point was universal, even if, as indicated, this particular instance was a tad misdirected. Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men and all that.

hopefully, the "element of yellow" is on the tag and the rest of the jersey is blue and white.

My thoughts is that the "element" that Sam is referring to is that our sponsor has a yellow logo. This is just my speculation but being that Sam took the time to put stars around the word element leads me to believe it wont actually be a third color.

I was thinking the same thing, with maybe some yellow piping on the front. Piping is an element, isn't it? :p

I was thinking more along the lines of Sprint

    bingo

also, if there's an idea to have a third jersey with the yellow, then we should use these shades of yellow and blue.

I like the idea of a blue/yellow combo. I prefer the blue/white, but yellow is not a bad choice. I think it will look good. Plus, our jerseys haven't really changed much over the last few years. I'm with Felixx on the idea that maybe the introduction of yellow could be because Sprint may be the sponsor.

Sam already said no on the "yellow cause it's sprint" idea.
But if it was Sprint, that'd be fine by me.

My theory is wrong, huh? That sucks, I dont want any other colors!

Sam, is there a timeframe in which the new jersey will be introduced?
