well as for next year, we still got the 2008 CONCACAF Under-23 Championship final round, Qualifiers for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, and a Caribbean Cup title to defend in the fall so I think there's still plenty of time to attract some more sponsors to the FHF.

You can scratch the WCQ from that list. You will get knocked out early.;)

The list should more reflect U-23 final round along with the Digicel title which more than likely you will also lose.

Not really it wasn't like you got to the quarters even though you went to the GC.:D

As a matter of fact the CFU champions had 1 pt from 3 games after sending a strong team with the soca warriors missing all their starters. What does that say about Haiti when they were the bottom feeders of their group.:D

Yes of course we sent our strog team. Most of the players were based from Haiti lol .Regardless, Haiti was there and the Ganja Boyz were sitting were they should be watching the haitian team, and thats at home. You dont deserve to be part of the strongest competition on concacaf when you embarass us like that in Asia. But I know you will come up with an excuse so im telling you now that I agree, the gold cup isnt important at all, neither is the digicel cup, WCQ is all that counts bla bla bla...we heard them all lol

Never said the GC wasn't important. It is but when you send a strong team and still sit at the bottom of your group..then you shouldn't be there.:D

But what does Haiti know bout tournaments/ You don't often play at the GC, Digicel Cup and WCQ so i guess its not really a loss for you people. you're used to mediocrity.:D

damn why does every conversation involving u (warlord) turn into a argument.

anywayz i think that if another big sponsor came to the hatian ligue it would be better if they made their own league(like in u.s baseball with american and national league) and then when seasons are finished the top 4 teams from their ligue and the digicell league could have have like a super cup two determine the islands real top club.
i think it would make the league better because of more players, and more clubs means more competition

You really this u need a new league, I dont know alot about Haiti but that doesnt seem logical as it would see a splitting of fan base not to mention talent who wont play each other until the end of the season. Doesn't sound like a good plan. If u look at the NFL even, u can see that the AFC has been for a while much stronger than the NFC and there is inter conference play between the 2. This is in the US with its huge population.
Personally I think a second sponsor should work in tandam with Digicel and probably try to expand the legue rather than set up a rival.

Well if you think that was a strong team for Haiti then I think we should be flatered. A mostly Haiti based team is considered strong. Says alot on our football. I think its time for us to recruit players like Ronaldhino and Kaka. I think they are ready to play in the Champional Digicel de Première divison in Haiti.

On top of that, I believe the absence of Jamaica in the gold cup is a good thing for Concacaf. I mean, teams would be beating you 6-0, 8-0 etc etc. What message would that send the rest of the world? It would tell them that the region is extremely weak.

    i c wat ur saying but i have 2 questions 4 u .
would it be better if there were inter conference play or just a new sponsor that comes and a couple new new teams are formed that r sponsored by the new company.

Zoff probably remembers himself but I doubt most Italians do. It wasn't like they got knocked out of the cup.

As a matter of fact, I think they're more inclined to remember the Korean player who played club football in Italy and scored against them knocking them out of the WC finals in 2002;)

This guy Warlord remind me of these Italians on You tube who are still cursing at the Sanon's Goal against Italy, yeah they remember the goal go on You Tube you will see it yourself. in the Gold Cup we had two ties, and lost one game which gives 2 points not one. Anyway-- Haiti as poor as it is is doing better than all the well financed caribbean team right now that is it. It is not just ranking--we have proved it, and we can only get better going forward. This is not tied to tourism, it ties to our passion for football. Just like the French, the Italian will forever remembers us.
