so, to sit in upper levels, it's more expensive? I guess I just find that odd since it's the opposite for sports in the states.
No, it's literally how it is. At the Emirates we have four levels. ----------------------------------- UPPER TIER ----------------------------------- VIP BOXES ----------------------------------- CLUB LEVEL ----------------------------------- LOWER TIER ----------------------------------- PITCH LEVEL The stands aren't too tall at the Emirates so you do get a better view. I've sat in the top top tier, at the back, and the view was excellent. Here's a comparison of the three tiers I have sat in: Arsenal v Man City - Upper Tier Arsenal v Slavia Prague - Club Level Arsenal v Derby - Lower Tier Case we do have different prices for different games, Man U Chelsea Liverpool Spudz and West Sham are more expensive than the other league matches.
Yea a goon teammate of mine was saying that this weekend, and I thought the names for the different price bands of games he said may have been tiers given what Vanity had said. I was wrong, it happens (rarely)
SO does anybody have anything to say about Craig David's dramatic change in appearance? The guys fukn tank now.
Meh, dunno what that means... I'm just watching the EMA's now... Dunno if Amy Whinehouse was pretending, but she looks completely bombed out of her mind.
It's a reference to a show that single-handedly proves British comedy is in a very bad waaay, even if the guy isn't British....
It was funny at first but then he was scraping the bottom of the barrell for jokes and people to give a massive chin too! Same thing happened with Ali G. appleCORR
I had my mind set on studying Architecture at the main university in my city... Only 60 out of 500 or so applicants are accepted for each year. I submitted a portfolio of about 10 different pieces, that were required, soon after entries opened. My overall aggregate is about 84%, and my school does a higher standard of exams that very few schools around the country do. SO basically, if I was doing the exams that just about every one in the country is doing, I'd be getting in the 90's. I also do Maths and Science. So do you think I've been accepted or heard a word yet?! They will instead accept a person of colour, with marks around 50% and may have handed in less then half of the required portfolio pieces... It's hard not to become disillusioned.
wow way to blame someones race and stereotype them not as if 'people of colour' havnt had it bad for the last few hundred years in SA is it?
Apartheid was abolished when I was a toddler - do you think I actually even supported it or knew what it was as a 3 year old? I wasn't stereotyping either - I was stating a fact. To enter some degrees, people of colour (as it states in the book) need half as many points as white people do. I completely agree giving a better chance to people who were previously disadvantaged - it just seems like I'm the one that will now have to pay for it.
such is life, same over here which is why i wanna leave this country political correctness>logic it seems
It is inevitable that I will leave the country - it is just matter of when. My father was saying today that I may just have to study overseas, such is the lack of opportunities. When I won an academic scholarship for highschool, I never quite imagined that I'd end up in this situation 5 years later.
I was about to type something now.... BUT, I can't remember since I am hearing multiple gunshots outside my house - for the second night running!! Night people...I'm going to find a room in my house with no windows and thick walls!
It might not be possible but maybe studying abroad in Europe or the United States might be for the better. This might be a sign
It's ridiculously hard to get a study permit for abroad...and then the study costs for a foreigner are overboard as well. To Africa, I'm European, and to Europe, I'm African.
Statistically yes, but people and friends won't really care or know. Out of interest, do you have a strong African accent.
I can vouch he does, I called one of his phone sex lines and he is a bit gruff!! Good game today, next two are away in Prague and Reading on a worknight so no need to stress myself!! PS: Did anyone see Cesc giving Rio an earbashing after the equaliser went in?
Yiss Miiii-th *Bows head in shame* Sorry I gotta say I did love when Francis Fabs (only figured out thats his equiv name 2day!) gave "Viv" Anderson (lmfao) an earful telling him how it was re: his rolling around like a Joe Cole wannabe!!!
And notice Fergie moaning again...he's moaning about the foul in the build up to our 2nd equaliser, but he's conveniently forgetting about Clichy getting steamrollered by that ginger twat Brown and that stupid piece of ex-Spurs crap Carrick in the build up to their opener. So ******** OFF FERGIE. Rant over.
and here is the big kicker. because of political correctness, "people of colour" will be allowed to use the whole apartheid card for years to come. even when the generations that were affected have passed away, the card will play it's hand.
