I wonder why Colombia isn't in the game.. I believe they should be.
The only South American teams that FIFA chose were:

Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Paraguay.

    Re: Colombia in FIFA 08

they finished top 5 in the WC qualifiers and colombia played like crap in Copa America we also werent in any fifas other than RTWC or WC06 since fifa 2002.

Tho I think its dumb because there are over 30 colombian players in this game why not jsut put our nt in the game??

really all they had to add was Castrillon, Macnelly, and maybe Vallejo,Arizala, Zuniga which was our copa america team

i dont know how im fooled into putting out 60 bux each year into this game. it keeps getting worse and worse. i thought the gameplay last year was horrible, guess what this year is even worse. they progressively keep goin down the drain with each fifa they release. its just that pez doesnt have so many licenses or else i would get it....

    Re: Colombia in FIFA 08

WE just looks like it did on xbox and its annoying

really all i want is spain, france and italian leagues

    and the Colombian/US NTs

Winning 11 has them but the graphics suck, its annoying that u have to spend 1-2 days changing everything and the 360 version last yr was prob the worst soccer game since RTWC felt like a demo and not a full version of the game. Venezulea and Boliva were in the game just not playable ???? WHY !!! put them in it

Winning Eleven's gameplay is LIGHT YEARS ahead of FIFA. The only thing FIFA has over WE is that they have all the licenses for the teams, balls, and cleats THATS IT. Winning Eleven's graphics are not that bad either they didnt look so goood on the 360 since they rushed to make the title available for the 360 you can expect this years version to be the best soccer game yet. As for having Bolivia and Venezuela in the game they dont...they just have certain players from that country...like George Weah they have him in the game but they dont have Liberia in the game...

FIFA should Include all Conmebol teams... maybe with Venezuela and Bolivia left at their discretion.

I want to see Colombia and Peru in the game along with the other S.A. countries included...

FIFA has put some European teams that are ************ and really make u ask what the hell was the reason for them being their... I remember teams like Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Norway being in the game.. i was like wtf !

They must see Carlos Sánchez´s level!! He´s excellent in the midfield, I´m impressed about him. I have heard a lot of good comments about Sánchez, and I went to Colombia´s trainings this week, but the most important thing is his personality and a game against Brazil is the best example to explain that he hasn´t feel bad with pressure: that´s the esencial difference between a good player and a normal player.

I bought it last year and I thought it sucked big time. You're telling me that it's even worse than last year? I decided to keep playing the 2006 version after buying last year's so I guess I'll stick with that. Hopefully next year there will be a really great version for PS3.

yes its horrible. ea's idea of making a game better or more realistic is just by making the shooting, dribbling, and passing suck.through passes are virtually impossible. ive always played on professional difficulty and on this game its like playing on world class on one of the older fifas. it pisses me off that they havent brought out one decent fifa on 360.

    Re: Colombia in FIFA 08

i just figured out how to do trick moves and the game is a bit easier now. I use to play on World Class all the time now just play on pro. Takes a while to get use to but its ok

another thing i dont get is why do they have 30 leagues if they are going to give almost 30% of the teams 1 or less stars?

why even put them in teh game

they should just have teh top 8 euro leagues, argentina, brasil and then UEFA,Champ League, Copa America, Sudamericana, Asian Champs League teams in rest of the world section.

Another thing why does EA hate Colombia why is Falcao a 68 ? and Cristian Zapata a 59 AGAIN !!!! How is conde better than Zapata?

    Re: Colombia in FIFA 08

I agree with you guys a 100%!!! The only thing i liked about Fifa 08 for the PS3 is the graphics and the fact that they have the licenses.... But Pro Evolution Soccer or WE whatever you want to call it has better game play, movement, passing, shooting etc..... Only thing i ask for is for them to get rights to the licenses... Also wish they put more Conmebol national teams and club teams and tournaments

They have been trying to do that but EA sports refuses to let them use the license's. I think EA know that the only advantage they have over Winning is their license for the teams and tournaments, if WE were to attain the rights FIFA would be no match whatsoever to Winning.

nice thread. A friend has Fifa 08, so can he put all these players in the game, just what, transfer from their various clubs to a world 11?!

Until we reach a world cup, we wont see Colombia grazing a fifa game. Not since I think Fifa 00 did we see Colombia If I can remember.

And bwoy is this game Hard, seriously. I was playing Legendary mode in the fifa 07, but this is nothing compared to Fifa 08's pro level. Damn.

    Re: Colombia in FIFA 08

yea i am playin on pro too.... took me like 10 games to score on amuetuer u have to know how to do trck moves and actually do them to score.....

its way better than 07 and Champs leauge tho not as good as World Cup 2006. And I will get hate mail for this but it is better than WE 360 last year that was almost unplayable demo..... was teh biggest let down since fifa RTWC 06 that launched for 360. I hope tho that winning gets its act together and give me the same ********in gmae thats on ps2 on 360 with better graphics

im barrelly getting the hang of it now. im only halfway thru my first season on pro. its so hard. ive always been able to pick up on new fifas starting on "pro" difficulty but this years version is just so different. the a.i. is like perfect, it never screws up, it creates plays and scores goals on its first chance. so its hard. i think the main strategy if you want to do good at this game is just play attacking football really. i had to go into my team mentality section under team management and change it to "all out attack" and full pitch marking. it works like a charm.

I'll never play another fifa. My last Fifa game was '06 and it sucked. Well, I do like certain things about Fifa like the season is somewhat cooler because of Sponsors and crap like but gameplay sucks. I hope Master league gets new features for this upcoming release.
