This is for National TV rights. Add in local TV rights (I'm guessing on average around $15 mil) each team will get about $45 mil a year.

    Foreign money

The Premier League astonished observers with the £625m television deal it struck with foreign broadcasters for the next three seasons. But the rest of the world is an increasingly lucrative market for the clubs

After the UK, Hong Kong pays the most for Premier League football: $200m over three years. With a population of just 7m, it is the most expensive rights deal per capita for any sport in the world. At $160m, Singapore is the second biggest overseas payer, while China has paid $50m

After Asia, Scandinavia is the most lucrative region for the Premier League to sell its TV rights. Africa and the Middle East have shown the biggest percentage increases, though the amounts involved are minor compared to the Asia and European markets

Arena bought the Bundesliga rights last year for $300 million/year , but had trouble distributing. Premiere is basically taking it all back over.

  7. This thread seems hopelessly out of date. MLS has signed jersey sponsorship deals with Amigo Energy and Glidden Paint recently and there's no mention. Lot s of other deals going on and no mention. I know Walgreens just signed a 3 year deal for in stadium signage, promo events, and name on kids shirts on the field. I don't know how you track all of this. Some of these items may be less than $1 million per year, but it's nice to know money is coming in and this thread seems to be mistitled.

Does ESPN have the rights to broadcast UEFA Champions League games on HD? I wonder if this coming season of champions league is going to be televised on HD as they did with the final last season. I can only wish...

The deal will continue the exclusive Sunday night telecasts and Monday and Wednesday games as well. ESPN will also maintain the rights to the All-Star game's Home Run Derby and other related pre-game festivities
