I'm pretty sure I am in the process of pissing off a British ebayer.

He asked if I could ship to England, I said sure as long as he pays the $23-30 USD shipping rates.

He bids and wins the item. I go to the invoice and go to calculate actual shipping, ebay calculator tells me 10.40! So I add a note 'hey good news, it actually won't be $25 bucks, but just 10 instead!'

While I'm waiting to pay, I just go to get the shipping label started in paypal, and get up to the screen right before you pay where it tells you how much shipping will be.

And paypal tells me it is $23 again!

So I sent this guy another message saying that I was sorry for the mistake and confusion, but it really will be $23, and sent him another invoice. He probably thinks I am some kind of scam artist now.

    Grrreat.

Well if he wants you to ship it to him he has to pay whatever its going to cost. Dont worry about it

Lets just hope he doesnt get any extra surprises with customs charges!!

    O.K, flaming time....

Yup, that song is MAAAAAAD WACK "kanyeeezy ur a genius for this one, psyche!!!"
Kanye has maaad talent, it's just often he gets too artistic and fudges up the whole deal for a simpleton like me. Pretty sure Id smack dude in his wired-up jaw if I saw him, but man does he make the best hybrid of intelligent rap and pop-hop....

Apps, advise on using a mac....
    1: open window
2: throw mac out of said window
3: regret that u didn't unplug it first as it swings on the cable and smashes the window of the floor beneath u....
4: buy a pc, because you can read and write and don't just wanna draw pretty pictures......

If apps mac stops working completely, and she loses all ability to post on here, then can someone take her identity over. Mocking me as fat etc and posting IN EVERY THREAD that V1's are the best boot ever, as if she's never said it before, are pretty much the only things the role requires....

He may not be the best rapper at the moment, but he is definitely talented, his only problem is that he believes his own hype too much.

ok ill give u that he makes the occasional decent beat

his mcing skills are awful though

rhymes the same words and does it frequently, one syllable rhymes almost every bar with no clever word play or decent structure

as an mc, he has no skill when u compare him to good mcs

however, hes put out a couple of good beats like all falls down, jesus walks etc

but hes not the saviour like he thinks he is

but rap in the mainstream has sucked since about 97 anyway

    case who u listen too?

im a big wu head myself and others

    What was it exactly???

His lyrics are awful, it's true. He just goes over the same things:

    - How good he is (he's not)
    - How he busted his jaw and nobody was around to help him
    - How much money he has
    - Political crap that nobody wants to hear.

It's been going downhill veeery slowly since The College Dropout. To be honest he owes everything to Jigga, the tracks he produced on The Blueprint put him in mainstream, otherwise he'd be struggling like everybody else.

He still makes good beats though. I would say the order is:

    - Neptunes
    - Scott Storch
    - Lil Jon
    - Kanye
    - Swizz Beatz
    - Just Blaze
    - Timbaland
    - Jermaine Dupri

Cool & Dre, Dallas Austin and Dr Dre are in the middle somewhere as well.

EDIT: However, he needs to STOP WITH THE FARCKING SAMPLES!!!

erm, im pretty sure anyone who thinks his wordplay is not clever ain't listening! Diamonds is hot, sure he jumps non-sensically from topic to topic but then why not. When the last time u ever heard a track that had verses relevant to the chorus/title anyway, THAT WAS GOOD to listen too!!! Yea I ain't feelin his new stuff as much as the college dropout (which I didn't especially like) but then y'all know how hard sophmore year is....

bigg, topics 1 and 3 are staples of hip-hop, anyone that ain't rappin braggadocious ain't rappin! And if it ain't about Sex/Money/Guns, surely all thats left is politics and/or personal experience (2&3 on ur list). People simply don't have enough to say for themselves to fill 3 albums worth of rap, which is why the genre suffers compared to others that don't require the artists to posit anything compelling. Once u've F'd all the B's, shot all the N's, ran from all the cops and done all the narcotics as in ur first album, pretty much all thats left is sopelling ur name SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPee!

Can u guys explain what u dislike about his mc'ing? To me it's pretty much a) coherant and b)intelligent- u can get the guy has a lexicon and understands most of the words he spittin, and has put them together to form sentances that are about the topic he's trying to convey, to come across humourously, or yes to serve himself by bigging himself up...

tbm, can't say I listen to anyone much, just put on MTV Timberlakeland (base) and gawp in astonishment that Nelly "on my best day I look abit like that chick from Neighbours" Furtardo can give the sorta brain that gets her talentless non-descript ass as much play as her role in the power triad has! I put on channel U and laugh at all these losers putting on fake accents in hi-pitched voices and going on about how they ain't tryin to be yanks, WELL U AIN'T SOUNDIN BRITISH EITHER!!!
I mean I liked the wu for what it was, but I mean come'on, half they stuff was non-sequitous. Sure sthe big guns spat verses with relation to others, but then the "making up the numbers" chumps would jump on as if they haven't been in the booth and dunno what the song is about. Triumph sounds great, buit break down Rza's verse, he's actually talking the sort of nonsense that only existentialists could claim had meaning! Labels is a great concept record well executed, but dude, they did Gravel Pit.......

Like u say rap ain't what it was since back then, but when u take Pac out, I can barely tell u what it was! Biggie has been so post-humously over-rated (there I sed it!) it's un-true, and as fun as the Clan were, man they were saturising the market with all those BS off-shoots (killer bees etc) back then, not to mention there fan-mocking "5 shows a night in different cities, we'll have 2 guys at each then a bunch of lip-sinkers hidden under hoods"....

Sure, hip-hop is dead, but then why shudn't it be. Nas can't even decide if he's a hypocrit or not, and now the streets are in the boardroom they hustlin the fans as much as whitey ever did- lets bump snap music and sell it to white kids, all agreed? ay bay bay...

and fcuk it, i've grown and alls I want is to be entertained for a few minutes, or feel that drop as the first few bars of woteva bs one-hit wonder joint is dropped in tha club, so u damn str8 im snapping my fingers and doing my step, hey, I can do it all by myself....

pretty sure I haven't responded exatly to any points made, I've missed my own points but hey im ranting in defence of a guy I don't even like, like wearing Louis Vitton is something to brag about.....it breaks my heart that Game got suckered in.....

compare kanye to mcs like rakim, kool g rap, inspectah deck, gza and other all time greats

hes weak as hell mate, how exactly is he intelligent? whining about seirra leone when he rocks diamonds and expensive shit?

kanye west makes average beats with the occasional club hit and raps poorely in my opinion, and i regard myself pretty educated on the art of mcing and writing

i fail to see any of his clever world play

someone like vakill or copywright who get NO expeosure have dropped single bars that shit on kanyes whole selection of 'verses'

i agree about limited subject matter case

without a brilliant producer shit gets repetative, the only guy who still interests me is canibus biut hes an enigma

check his verses, the best mc of all time in my opinion
