Old thread Anyone want to tell me the two songs this line features in? This is an eeeeeeeeeeeeeasy starter....
I think it's quite good! But I've sort of killed it. I heard the version with Mark Ronson DJ'ing over it. "shout out to French people"...what a loser
Well, went to the team meeting, and I am feeling a little better. Some people that I thought might be pulled up from our B team, but wasn't sure about, did get pulled up. So we are back to a roster of 15 (1 gk), and if we ever need it, a few 91s may dual-roster to give us depth on the bench. Talking with our coach made me feel better about a lot of stuff, and although there is still somewhat of a sour taste in my mouth, a few things you guys have mentioned are things I've been thinking about -- ie when we get to play Greensboro... it will be very interesting. We shall see what happens!
I can't find the version of "Stronger" with that guy talking over it! Have you heard his other two new songs? "Bitter Sweet" and Can't Tell Me nothing" Pretty good stuff like always!
you are crazy! man, our team last year was super physical (just because we were taller and bigger than mexicans) and the teams we would play against would be so dirty to us( ie: mexicans). elbow to the ribs and head, 50/50 balls would turn into cleats up tackles. i think it's a part of me now to go in hard because it's less painful then trying to dodge everything.
^ I just meant in our agegroup. There's not so much dirtyness as there is unsportsman like conduct.. ie girls talk a lot of crap, because it makes them feel better about themselves, I think, or something. Against a specific team in HS this year, all I would ever hear the defense say is 'blah blah F@&# this s#%$ this ref is making such s#&@ calls blah blah', and 'get the f&#! off me b@#!$.' Sure there are some teams that do play dirty sometimes, but not like killeachother dirty.
Yeah I downloaded those as well. The Mark Ronson version was out a couple of months ago on Limewire (leaked obv.) now the track is on iTunes and everything. Kanye West is probably the most jumped up asshole in the US at the moment, but damn, the boy makes good music.
I'd rather lay on train tracks for the day than pay that for a phone. Speaking of phones, I really, REALLY wanted the N95 when it came out. But it's apparently littered with problems and the one thing I don't understand about it is why you need to slide the MP3 controls out. It's like, why not put the buttons on the side of the phone or something...it's just awkward!
Correction: I'll be getting the $600 version My dad owns alot of Apple shares and he's going to buy 3 on the 29th. One for him, me, and my mum. You also got to admit it's one of the best looking phones out there though. Can't wait to get it
True, but you quoted the offline price of the phone. When you sign up on a contract here (on a network, with tons of free minutes and texts, works out cheaper than pay as you go) you get the phone for £50. Told you, I am a stingy git when it comes to money!!
on the topic of dirty games my team jsut got in a massive brawl at us club regionals pity tho as we both got knocked out thanks to the damn tournament system but it was fun im gonna hafta admit .... albeit the bitter taste of not making semis n i heard that the iphone will be work as an mp3... but when it comes to the actualy PHONE part... its gonna fail wait for the second generation
That is true, most of the time the first release of phones do have a lot of technical bugs, so getting version 1.2 or 1.3 is the best option, or at least getting a software upgrade at the first possible opportunity.
i phone loooks cool for business people who need the extras, but to everyday john doughs/joe bloggs u dont need all that shit i bet the chavs will be on the hunt for people using them when they come out
Ahh my old team's manager is being an ass. He has been phoning the manager of the team I'm training with and is moaning about me playing for them, complaining about nothing and claiming that "he kicked me out" and he said "I would never play for his club again". All of which is bollocks, even the new manager said he's talking out his arse. And quite strange that the new manager of my old team said he wants to keep me. A bit odd, methinks.
