    That would be so cool.

I am sure Danish boards are a tad more intense in their discussion of Christian Poulsen than of Svenne.

    Just a hunch.

AGF won today, and took a big step towards promotion...short little recap at www.americansoccerdaily.com

Just put the link cause they have photos of the uniforms that are sharp as heck. Wish the USMNT would go back to red.

AGF very close to Promotion :)

While AGF managed to beat Næstved away in round 28 of the Danish Viasat Sport Division, then their closest pursuers Fredericia lost at home to the full-time professionals from SønderjyskE, so that AGF now are 3 points ahead in the promotion fight and with 1 match in hand at home against Ølstykke who btw saved themself from relegation danger by beating the other AGF pursuers from Kolding, making it almost a double victory for AGF, since AGF's next two games are at home against Ølstykke (who now have nothing left to play for) and away against a Kolding team who (by the loss in Ølstykke) now are 7 points behind AGF with only two games left for them to play and no chance of promotion ... so I can only say "Yatzy" :D (or 'Yahtzee' as I belive it's called in English ?) ... The result of round 28 could hardly get any better than this for AGF...

As for the match against Næstved, then nothing much happened in the first 45 minutes and as the Næstved players grew tired in the 2nd half, AGF totally dominated and scored the two goals needed to secure a win. Jeremiah White played in left wing position, not showing much except for one fairly good shot that slightly missed the target. In the 2nd half he was moved up to play as forward along with Graulund, but got replaced with Mike Tullberg when he run out of Gas and the AGF coach perhaps saw the need of some fresh and bigger "muscles" on the field, to keep their lead.

Viasat Sport Division, (Round 28 of 30) :

I hope for your sake Ceres that AGF plays better next season, otherwise you're going straight down again. It was a pretty even match all told, with Næstved perhaps getting the better of the first half and the bigger (and better conditioned) GF players dominating the second half.

I just wish we could learn to not play long balls forward when all our players are midgets compared to almost every opposing team in the division.

In pre-season this very same AGF team beat just about every Superliga team (and Malmö FF) they faced and did it quite convincingly, but you also have to understand that 1st division is a different kind of soccer and diffirent kind of opponents dragging down the pace and make it difficult for the AGF team to play the kind of soccer they really would like to play.

The AGF management, coach and players have also been under alot of pressure, not being able to afford more than one single loss since the winter break... They have managed to achieve this at the expense of playing more polished soccer and by making the games more of a tactical fight, trying to soften up their opponents in the first 45 minuts and then use the fact that they are full-time professionals and physical stronger to "squash" their opponent in the last 30 minutes or so.. Not all that pretty to watch, but getting the results needed to get promoted.

AGF is ofcause not going to play like this in the Superliga and unlike Lyngby, then most of the AGF players are already used to the higher pace in the Superliga and also got the physical strenght needed at this level, besides the fact that AGF the can afford to sign some classy reinforcements. According to very reliable rumours, then AGF have already made some deals with a few players who are going to sign a contract as soon as the promotion is secured.

With only one match left this season, The AGF 2nd team have won promotion to the Danish 2nd division (3rd level) :

    http://www.bolddk.com/statistik/tabel.php?liga=188&saeson=38&program=fuldt

...that is, if AGF also get promoted to the Superliga, otherwise AGF II will (according to the rules) not be allowed by the Danish FA to get promoted to the Danish 2nd div.... So it's either two promotions or non at all...

Viasat Sport Division, (Round 27 of 30) :

    AGF v Ølstykke FC 3-1 (2-1)
    1-0 Peter Graulund (22')
    2-0 Peter Graulund (31')
    2-1 Mauricio Ortiz (34')
    3-1 Peter Graulund (pen.) (83')
    Attendance: 13,541

    AGF lineup (4-4-2):

    ................................. Steffen Rasmussen (24)

    F. Krabbe (19).. Ole Budtz (28).. Anders Kure (21).. M. Lumb (19)

    L. Pleidrup (25).. Svenne Poulsen (26).. K. Árnason (24).. J. Gjesing (21)

    ................. Jeremiah White (25)... Peter Graulund (30)

    Subs:
Jeremiah White / Mike Tullberg (85')
Peter Graulund / Rasmus Katholm (86')
    ---

    Ølstykke (4-4-2):
Jimmi Klitland - Jesper Hestehave, John Gadella (51: Kofi Dakinah), Thomas Sørensen, Andreas Sørensen - Klavs Svendsen, Andrew Tembo, Peter Hansen, Mauricio Ortiz (Rasmus Jørgensen) - Jackie Christensen, Emmanuel Ukpai.

    A few highlights :

    or
    Link 2

AGF played a very good first 45 minutes and Jeremiah White looked very good throughout this match, though he didnt score any goals, he made an assist when AGF keeper Steffen Rasmussen threw a long ball upfield to White, who then made a quick run and an excellent pass to the AGF and Viasat Sport Division topscorer Graulund who easily made it 1-0. A set piece and header by a former AGF talent, the Argentinian Mauricio Ortiz, kept an also fairly well playing Ølstykke team in the match, so the last 45 minutes became more of a tactical fight in midfield, with the AGF players using most of their efford on keeping an Iron Grip on Ølstykke so they were never really allowed to look dangerous, but on the other hand the Ølstykke midfield and defense also became very physical trying to keep AGF and especially man-of-the-match Peter Graulund from scoring more goals. White also came close to make yet another assist in the 73th minute, but this time his just as excellent pass was shamelessly misused.

AGF have only lost 1 of their last 16 Viasat Sport Division games and now got a 6 point lead and a +7 score on Fredericia in the fight for promotion, with only two rounds left to play. So unless AGF lose both their last two games (which is highly unlikely) and Fredericia at the same time manage to win both their last two games, AGF is sure to win promotion.

AGF Aarhus and Jeremiah White won promotion when they beat Kolding 2-0 away in the Viasat Sport Division.... It was a very entertaining match with plenty of huge opportunities.. The pitch was good and wet, Kolding are a very good short passing team and it was their very first home loss this ½-season...

Though Jeremiah White did not score any goals or make any assists I still think he was man-of-the-match, and that it probably was his best match of the season. He really got the needed time and space to show his skills against an attacking minded Kolding team.

I still remember watching him in Ligue 2, I even asked some of the Caen players about him. Alot of people think he got a raw deal at Guingamp, though his attitude may have had something to do with it.

But glad to see him playing somewhere and playing well.

I may have already asked this...but does anyone know how to get in touch with Jeremiah? If you do, PM me.

I work for the Ocean City Barons of the PDL, and he's one of our more successful alums, and I'd like to do a story on him.

Let me know if anyone who can help me out. Maybe someone knows someone at Yanks-Abroad.com -- they seem to have a way to contact him.

    Thanks.

If I knew who his agent was, I would do that. Any help?

Do you think his club would really respond to the email that's posted on the website?
