    A3 tournament 2007, held in Ji'nan, Shandong Province, first round result,
    Shanghai Shenhua(CHN) 3:0 Seongnam Chunma(KOR)
    Shandong Luneng Taishan(CHN) 4:3 Urawa Red Diamonds(JPN)
    Shandong Scorer:
    Zheng Zhi,
    Shu Chang,
    Zivkovic(P),
    Zhou Haibin
    Wasn't a perfect win, if Washington haven't scored two goals after 89th minute, it would have been a great great comeback.

    It's good that Urawa did not give up even when losing 1-4.

    News said Suzuki and Abe will play in the next game. I guess they were rested the first game after their NT duty? Anyway they should improve the defense a bit.

    in other japanese board, people literally call A3 as "penalty" for being a champ. Clubs don't really gain anything from this tourney.

    I think Urawa fought well.
    Regional tournament like this is benificial for all 3 countries I think, especially for the underdevelope soccer country, like China.

    yeh, China has helped keep this tournament alive, but I'm not sure if it will last must longer. How large are the crowds for these games?

    Yes, I think the tourney, while not too presigious is good in helping the players get international experience.

    Nice to see some healthy crowd numbers, but again looking at some of the play I feel that the teams might not have been taking it too seriously.

    yes but judge from the attendance we may say at least fans like this tournament, it's at least three times better than ACL's Average attendance
