from ussoccer.com: ALL FOUR NATIONS MATCHES ON TV, IN CHINA: For the second straight year, all of the Four Nations matches will be broadcast to a massive audience all across China on CCTV Channel 5.... can somebody get me connected to a stream?
CCTV5 is pretty popular channel, and there are a lot of ways to get a stream. I've tried two, PPLive and SopCast. PPLive is made at some Chinese university and as of a year ago it was a giant annoying load of crap. I'd recommend SopCast, which has always been reliable for me. Here's what you need to do: (Note: This was done using the Firefox web browser.) 1. Go to http://sopcast.fuerzw.de/. This is a SopCast mirror site which has worked well for me. You'll get a popup complaining that you don't have SopCast installed (this page has an embedded sopcast feed, I believe). Just clear it and click on the Sopcast 1.0.1 for Windows link to download SopCast.zip. If you have problems with this site, you can try http://www.sopcast.org but that site is usually very slow. 2. Unzip the downloaded file, then run the setup program. It's very straight forward. 3. Double-click on the SopCast icon on your desktop or start menu. 4. Login in to Sopcast as anonymous. This will bring up the main SopCast window. Click on the "Channels" tab. You should see a list of channels arranged into various groups. At the very top you should see the "Sport Channels" group. Open the group by clicking on the + sign if it's not already open. The second channel down should read "6002. CCTV5". There will be a number in brackets next to the channel which is the number of peers streaming the channel. Double-click on CCTV5 to open the video window. It will spend some time buffering the stream and then start playing. It usually takes 30-45 seconds for the video to start, and it may be jerky at first. You can right-click on the video to get a menu of options, like adjusting the volume or going to full-screen mode. 5. If you use Windows Firewall you may get a message that it has blocked some SopCast features for security purposes. It gives you an option to unblock the features, which you should do since it's a peer-to-peer network. If you use other firewalls, you may have to adjust its settings for SopCast to work properly. I doubt you'll have problems, but if you do I probably won't be able to help, so good luck . That's all that's to it. If you have any trouble, post here and I'll see if I can help.

Namdynamo probably answered your question, but just in case, the channel id for CCTV5 on sopcast is 6002 if I'm not mistaken. You shouldn't need that unless you're using the command line on linux, though. Just look for CCTV5 in the channel listing.
I'm not sure why basketball is on. I'm hoping the broadcast will start soon. The England-China match was shown as scheduled, and it did run a bit long.
I'm watching Eurosport 2 on my TV. Don't know about streams though. The ref is a complete joke btw, whistling like it was a no contact sport. O'Reilly being booked for absolutely nothing.
YEAHHHHH!!!!! This match is Caifu Sports for PPmate Download PPCast!!! www.rojadirecta.com YEAH!!! 0:0 Who recorder this match?
More even now. Osborne booked for a clumsy tackle. USA alone with goalie now, being whistled for offside when she was 2 meters onside.
0-0 at HT. USA one up would have been the fair score in my opinion. Germany without Prinz created almost nothing apart from a good long range shot. The US goalie seems really big and strong in her field work.
