You see, that's a better way to answer. It's just sport. That doesn't make Haiti as a country better than Jamaica or TnT better than Cuba. But, you sure like to fight, dude. Now, I think next time we should give 5 goals to make you disappear.
Congrats to tha haitians around here! Report offensive posts please! Do not fight back, report them please
Congrats Haiti. The Soca Warriors did us proud as usual but fell short this time. Enjoy the win, we'll be back Maybe we can return the favour, in Haiti, come next finals.
Let me set up things little bit.. because the way you are talking it's like this Haiti Team is an old players team with hundred caps. No it's not so! Some of the Trinidadian are older than the Haitians keeper Gabart turn 26 years old this month (january) Bruny 34 the oldest Gilles 28 Mayard 26 Stephane Guillaume 22 Ednerson Raymond 21 Boucicaut 24 Baptiste 20 Lormera 24 Fucien 22 Marcelin 19 Mones Chery 25 Vuibert 21 Germain 24 Cadet 26 Dacius 21 Wadson Coriollan 22 Vuibert Germain Ednerson Raymond are Baltimore of Haiti players
Mayard 15 caps Guillaume 10 caps Ednerson 7 caps Baptiste 7 or 8 caps Fucien 6 caps Marcelin 5 caps Vuibert 9 caps Dacius 4 caps Cadet 10 Caps
T&T did accomplished something, a bigger pool to choose from, with 6 college players, 2 free agents and one world cup player they actually made it to the Caribbean FINALS without 23 of their professional based players. Now that is an accomplishment. Players missing from T&T Clayton Ince, Kelvin Jack, Shaka Hislop, Avery John, Atiba Chalres, Brent Sancho, Cyd Gray, Dennis Lawrence, Ian Cox, Marvin Andrews, Aurtis Whitley, Anthony Wolfe, Carlos Edwards, Christopher Birchall, Dwight Yorke, Silvio Spann, Evans Wise, Russell Latapy, Cornell Glen, Collin Samuel, Jason Scotland, Kenwyne Jones, Stern John. Now how sweet is that..... thats like 2 full teams of professional players and a gel one too.. Haiti is also doing well but nothing to get carried away, this was a T&T C Team all the other caribbean teams played with a full strength team including Cuba and Martinique who were beaten. Now our team heads to Panama and Costa Rica for warm ups... this same side basically.
By the way, Haiti has about 10 oversea players who were not there including Colorado Rapids Fabrice Noel 21 years old Fc Nantes central defender Jn Jack Pierre turn 26 yesterday Brondby Striker Philipp Peguero 24 Miami FC left defender Jack Jamil
Who's the 10 ? we were missing 23, let me say it again, 23...... thats 2 teams plus a sub... And did Hait play with any college players ?
Missing for Haiti Those players went to Haiti to train with the NT last December but their clubs didn't release them for the tournament Pierre France Jeoboam France Lesly Fellinga Holland Tim Velten Holland Pierre Mercier France Peguero Denmark injured Fabrice Noel No Visas on time Jamil Miami fc Bridrece Azor Italy Marc Herold Gracien France Romain Genevois France Demarest Portugal Didier Domi Spain in talk with the Federation I can tell you you have seen nothing yet of Haiti full strengh team. Myself as haitian iam scared of what coming for the Concacaf Zone Wait and see! Our U 20 prodigy Sony Norde is with Boca Juniors youth 4 of our U 20 are going to Colombia Some of the actual Senior Team players may go to South America or MLS And we have a prodigy in our U 17 a little mid called Joseph Peterson. Any way it's better for me when they underestimate our players. Like that, we can always make surprise! Look how our U17 will kick Salvador and Honduras ass in April Wait and see what's coming! By the way Roody Lormera is also free agent
Was Wim going to field all the 23 players? I always support TnT and Jamaica when Haiti is not playing and you can't imagine how much i like Yorke and Whitmore but i think most of the carribean countries are getting very very very dangerous years after years including Haiti. It's no more like for example 10 years back. Barbados, Vincy, Guyana, Grenade are being very very dangerous nowadays. Anyway, it's good for the Concacaf region. I understand TnT has lot of players missing but nothing is sure they would have won maybe we would still be champion maybe in a stronger manner. I saw the best Tnt squad ever (for me) in Haiti in 2000 for WC eliminatory against Haiti in PauP and they suffered a lot against full local based Haiti players( Golman Pierre at that time) 1-1 FT Oversea players mean something and at the same time nothing!
In Haiti, they consider USA Universities players( haitian) are less good than the young local based players. They will not take him straight to NTthey will ask him first to come and play with a haitian club. You will not see University players in any Haitian team U 17 U 20 let's not talk about senior team. Ricardo Piere Louis( Lee University) is not in the team though he played for us before going to University. The same for Turlien Romulus. This is big party in Haiti right now and DAY OFF The team is coming back today at 4 PM from TnT
Bro, it is over you are the CHAMPS. It is time to move on. The better team on the day won. Come to the warriors site and you will see, we have only good things to say about your team. Let us both go prepare for the GC so we can represent the CFU to the best. Enjoy the victory. There is nothing more to prove.
Actually majority of the players on that young soca warriors squad are younger. The oldest players were Kerwyn Jemmott 28 and Gary Glasgow 30 And the vast majority of that squad never played or had like a handful of caps for the National senior team.
well that was the squad Trinidad & Tobago sent to represent their country, no excuses about it. It doesn't matter if they were all over 30 or under 20, that squad was your country's representatives and Haiti sent theirs. If you want someone to complain to then write a letter to the TTFF. It's funny tho, warlord just can't let this go........and i'm loving every bit of it.
You can add Hector Sam and Josh Johnson to that list. Although I agree with you lets not take away from what Haiti has done. We should keep this secret and not use it as an excuse , every dog has its day. Apparently Haiti had some players missing too, not as many as we did, but thats besides the point, which is they won, a bitter pill especially considering the winning and dancing show put on by their players after. We will have our revenge very soon I think
I am not taking away the fact that Haiti won, congrats to them, but when you look at it, T&T were the ones who really accomplished something in this whole tournament. We discovered some new talent and it only a matter of time we send a few to foreign clubs and build a big pool. This T&T side has NEVER played together before this tournament and only came together weeks before this, while all the other teams played together for a while and we did great considering the fact. They represented us very well and will now grow on to bigger and better things. Haiti played more than 11 games before they met us, we even beat them 3-1 in this same Digicel Cup. Like Mexico and USA who can take a locally based team and still qualify for the world cup, T&T is actually aiming to do this and is in the right track. I prefer we lose now and win when it really matters. If Haiti that good how come they didn't go to the world cup ? They won the Caribbean Cup, lets see what will happen when the world cup starts back. They almost didn't even make it to the Digicel Cup but bounce back pretty well.. Dont get me wrong, congrats to them, but please don't get to overwhelmed. I understand beating T&T is like beating Brazil for many Caribbean teams, but this side was a College team and like it or not, that does makea difference.
Well they accomplished something too, they won, I know what you're saying and I agree but they still did beat us, in our back yard, again. This is what, the 3rd time in the space of a year. I'm getting a little too used to seeing Hatian players dancing and celebrating in our house. I think a little revenge is in order how bout a friendly on a FIFA date no excuses preferably in Port au Prince.
They only beat us twice in the past 3 years at senior level, we beat them umteen times. We actually tie in the Digicel Cup games ties between us, we won one they won one, they just won the more important game. I like one player from Haiti a youth by the name of Patterson.... thats it...
