Very possibly, but that question would be more appropriate in the 'Left-Handed Players - Name Them' thread.

It's an interesting question, though. Does any evidence exist that would suggest an answer, one way or the other?

I watched two games with Bobby Charlton in recent months. In the first one he almost exclusively used his right foot, in the second one he almost exclusively used his left foot! Amazing. One of my favorite players.

Fernando Redondo was left footed if I'm not mistaken.

    What a pointless topic.

Next let's make a list of every player with ginger hair.

    What a pointless post.

Next let's make a list of every poster who - lacking an interest in the topic of a particular thread - nevertheless feels compelled to post anyway and express said lack of interest, wasting his own time and that of others.

    FFS/fyp. ;)

    **********

Seriously, not every BS thread needs to be heavy lifting or pure analysis. For most here, this thread has been an enjoyable trip down memory lane. Why (try to) spoil the fun?

Figured it was too easy to include left-backs or left-wingers, so have only done so wherever noteworthy for some reason (e.g. Brehme). As such, this is a list comprised of goalkeepers, central defenders, midfielders & strikers of note.

    Laurent Blanc
    Emmanuel Petit
    Andoni Zubizarreta
    Davor Suker
    Stefan Schwarz
Andreas Brehme - very two footed, though & took penalties with his right.
    Wim Kieft
    Jimmy Greaves
    Petr Cech
    Tony Cascarino
    Lubo Kubik
    Pedrag Mijatovic
    Aldair
    Zico?
    Gerson?
    Leonardo
    Bernd Holzenbein
    Emre Belozoglu
    Gianluca Pagliuca
    Jerzy Dudek
    Luca Marchegiani
    Bryan Robson
    Enzo Francescoli
    Paolo Futre
    Chris Waddle
    Gary Speed
    Savo Milosevic
    Gunther Netzer
    Raul
    Jonas Thern
    Walter Samuel
    Toni Polster
    Daniel Passarella

Yes, indeed and he even scored a freekick with his left foot.

Another player who is tough to know is Paolo Maldini, (who recently said that he is a born righty) but took a penatly in Euro 2000 with his left foot...

These players I assure u that they were righties just out of my head immedietly, and I think there are few more who aren't left footed in your list.

Interesting fact about Passarella - was actually right footed but suffered a horrific injury when young so learned to play left footed.
