For those of you who are still behind and are still watching the first 5 seasons of 24, you might want to skip this thread. Well, he's back. Yesterday were the first 2hours of Season 6 and it was awesome. There was some repetitory themes from the last few seasons, eg. Arab kids and their parents being arrested. But we are introduced to new themes, such as ACLU, new members of the White House, and the new Jack, who can't torture anymore. Anyhow, today is another 2-hr season premiere, so more surprises are waiting for us. Also, Prison Break is starting next Monday, so finally, i can actually enjoy Sunday nights and not dread about Mondays for a while.
there seems to be a good 24 thread in the movie,t.v. section bud. as for myself i watch a lot of documentaries, family guy, south park and other than sports thats about it really. im more of a movie guy t.b.h. and besides now a days every second t.v. show is some sort of crap reality show with washed up celebs, which really do my head in.
i hate reality shows, i think they are beyond stupid. THe only shows i have watched over the last few years are 24, Prison Break, Shield and NipTuck.
actually i love "Have I Got News For You" & "Top Gear" now that i think about it their both funny in their own twisted way and apart from the news probably the only decent tele on the beeb.i.m.o.
Have I got news for you was great when Angus Deaton was still doing it. Now they've got all these guest presenters it's lost it a bit. I have a dodgy obsession with Scrubs and Lost at the moment though And I despise reality shows too, the problem with them though is usually when you start watching it's kinda hard to stop.
i want to start watching Lost, but haven't gotten around to it. I now remembered Rome is another show i watch, and i know Season 2 started yesterday, but i got rid of my HBO, so now have to wait till it comes out on DVD.
i believe you get Top Gear in the states but i doubt you'd get H.I.G.N.F.Y. it's a topical news quiz, the scores are'nt important just takeing the p**s out of the weeks news, they get sued quite a bit as a result but the lads especially Paul Merton have some razor sharp wit.
Ah yeah Paul Merton is great, works with Hislop really well. And Lost is just plain weird but it does have a way of keeping you watching, releasing little bits and then pissing you off when it goes on a break for three months!!! Ahem.

i'm downloading 24 and prison break as we speak. I sadly missed the new Top Gear on sunday as we had some guests over and i couldn't leave them just to watch Top Gear. Does anyone know when Jonathan Ross is on again. That show is quite fun to watch.
Figured I bump this as I need assistance anyways. My girlfriend and I are very domesticated, watch a lot of TV. We netflix shows and watch full seasons in a matter of days. Anyways looking for something new, based on stuff I like. For comedy, look up Newsradio. It's one of the greatest sitcoms I've ever seen (Exaggerating) but it's one of the only sitcoms that had me in tears. No Futurama Walter? Watch that too!
Favorites include Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, Two and a Half Men.. random game shows..random late shows on Teletoon(Canada's Cartoon Network).. such as Frisky Dingo, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros... not a big fan of Metalocolypse though (sorry Walter).. there's quite a few more but meh
Have you watched Sealab 2021 before? Freaky comedy with some funny stuff. Apologies to Riz. "I have something that can help with the baby." "What is it?" "A book." "What's the book?" "A Modest Proposal." "What's it about?" "Eating babies."
the actor who did murphys voice actually died the new captain was his son f.w.i.w. and while im on the [adultswim] subject.... Dethklok Rules!!!!
