Takahara played 62 minutes against us for Frankfurt, but was largely ineffective.

Matsui did not play against Toulouse (I think its Toulouse not sure) but Le Mans still won 2:0

Le Mans are currently 9th in the French Ligue Un. Matsui has played 15 games so far (total of 1028 minutes). Le Mans play Bordeaux next week, after that is a ~3 week holiday

Takuya Yamada is on trial with Adelaide United after being part of a relegated side for the second time running. What is the verdict on this bloke? He has 4 caps for Japan and still has a couple of years left at the ripe age of 32 but is he still up to scratch?

i used to have problem with A league, but i realised it was the only league football australia could offer, so i chose to support a league, attendences are quite good, where i live. 30 000+, australias a good place to live in and i guess asian players go there for a change

It's also on a different season than J league so a player like Yamada can go there and try and get J1 squads to forget about his dismal Cerezo campaign

He was subbed after 30'. Very bad match for the Messina team, he was involved like the other players.

Glad to hear that... it should be the right first move. I was worried when it was rumoured that he is joining Arsenal without virtually no experience in professional world. I think that would've destroyed him not because of football, but because of off-the-pitch environment.

I hope he does his best to absorb as much as he can safe in the knowledge that he can achieve better.
