Macy's Men's store at Valley Fair has Nike/Earthquakes sweat tops and t-shirts front and center by the escalators. The sweats have the new Quakes badge as it will be on the jerseys. They even put our Quakes gear right along side ManU sweats... What is this world coming to?
Figures, after I've moved overseas. I'm e-mailing this thread to my momma and her cat... seriously. Might be a good dropping of a few hints for me and my wife here-- winter is coming soon, in a couple of months' time, and those sweats would definitely come in handy.
Anything that casts a positive light on Soccer in general and the Mighty San Jose Earthquakes in particular is a good thing. GO QUAKES!! - Mark
Do you think that this Earthquakes gears could be found in any Bay Area Macy's? I'm gonna check out the one in Concord because if they do, I gonna cop it all.
Are they nice shirts? I mean not cheap looking. So much of the stuff that the Quakes had in prior years was so cheap looking. Club Quake stuff was always much better, though. I really like that polartec shirt! And, if they made a really nice, quality sweatset (top AND pants) I would so buy that.
And hopefully Earthquakes jerseys (both authentic and replicas) will be sold there as well.       I doubt that they will be , but it would be cool if they were!       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Same as before, just with a thicker black border around the edge (to better separate it from the rest of the blue of the home jersey).       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
dammit i was at macy's today but just zipped through it on my way to the rest of the mall (mmmmm, pretzels). I didn't even consider that they might have quakes stuff. To the Mall, Robin!
I have to head off to the mall tomorrow anyway to pick up Freelancer, so I might as well stop by at the Macy's and check out the Quakes stuff.       GO EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Ah! So good to be back! It's been years since my last post. (As you can probably tell by my signature quote). Anyway, how about the new 'Quakes long-sleeved tee in the most recent Eurosport catalog? It's the best MLS replica gear since the start of the league IMHO!!!
As Goodsport mentioned, the badge is a bit smaller than before with a thick black border around it. The sweat top is grey, hooded (I think), with the Quakes badge in the center of the chest, and a pair of blue stripes under the sleeves. I didn't see matching pants (sorry Erin). The T is white with "Earthquakes Soccer" in some non-threatening font, and a half soccer ball rising over the top. Still... in Macy's no less? P.S. Thanks for the kudos on Club Quake merchandise... Mike
yea we dont have those here in TX so I have to take the pretzels..or the dippin dots...or the cinnamon roll place. hmm I wanna go to the mall now
Well, then....since you're going that way and we believe you to be made of money, pick up one of everything for each of us, will ya Goodsie?!?
Checked out Macy's in Sunvalley, Concord, but couldn't find a thing that looked like Quakes gear. Maybe later.
I was on the eurosport page but can't find where to order a catalog? can anyone help? PM me with an address or something? thanks!
i'll check macy's in pleasanton on wednesday ... maybe walnut creek too if I can. the walnut creek mall has better pretzels so I just might have to do that.
