French Division 1 Results/News: Week of 8-23 to 8-28 [R]
In an effort to make these discussions a little more timely and easier to follow, I will be creating a new thread each week with a sticky for the news/results of that week (No need to have the 8/3 thread last us until May.)
At the end of the week, the thread will be un-stuck and a new one created. Feel free to continue any news or discussions from that week in the old thread.
Please let me know if anyone has any questions or comments.

Nice v Montpellier at Municipal du Ray
Rennes v Marseille at Route de Lorient

It should have just been "Ligue 1 and 2 [R]," not date specific. There isn't enough traffic in this forum.

I understand your point, but I think you are missing mine. The 8/3 thread has like 20+ posts in it, most of them not on the news of 8/3. It might create more threads, but you won't have to pass the same news over and over again to get to current results, etc.
I trust that you will continue to fill us in on a regular basis.
If everyone hates this idea, I am cool with going back to the old way, I just thought this might help.

I see.
Sounds good to me.
Where in the world can we find French posters?
I only use BigSoccer but of the many forums I've seen, very rarely are there any French football fans about...

French Saturday Wrap: So Nice For Nice, Bordeaux Stumble, Monaco Pick Up
It was one of those nights for title-chasers Bordeaux against Strasbourg. The Girondins insisted they needed a win against the Alsacians to get hold of the top. They were unexpectedly denied.
