Shall we welcome back the Prodigal Son???
We Baggies fans all know the story.... we all called him "the greedy roofer" when he joined the Sky Blues... we all questioned if he really loved the Albion when he accepted terms with Cov. Sure he came back to The Hawthorns on some days when Coventry weren't playing, but the bitterness remained.
And now Albion are asking to have him back. I'm sure there are some Baggies fans who will still hold a grudge and not want to forgive. They will call Hughsie, if anything, an opportunist bouncing back to his "boyhood favourite team" now that they are in the top flight.
But of Megson and the team want him back, (and Hughsie DOES come back) then Albion fans should forgive the "Ginja Ninja." Whether he will truly be able to help us in the top flight I'm not certain. He had a sub-par season with the Sky Blues and now he would face Premiership opposition on a regular basis.
