7/10 for effort, team spirit.
But i think his days in bayern are numbered, he plays the same role as makaay except he isn't as good. Both Pizarro and santa cruz should go, and when n if deisler does come back, Bayern should move ze roberto inside and play with makaay as the lone striker.
My dream formation:
Makaay
Ze Roberto
Deisler Ballack
Bastian Hargreaves
Rau Kuffour Kovac? Sagnol
Kahn?

I rate him 8/10. He's been good, by our team standards this year, but Maakay has been better.

He has been a bit, but most of the time he spends up front.

I never knew he could play in midfield... when it comes down to the forwards doesn't Hitzfeld prefer to play Santa Cruz in midfield?
I would rate his season thus far 5/10
Started off good but after his injury has been all downhill

yeah he helps out in the midfield when he plasy for peru as well as tracking back to defend in corners
in fact when playing for peru the coach has andres mendoza upfront with pizarro doing the dirty work as a withdrawn foward

I dont think anybody realizes that is Hitzfeld who is the one asking Pizarro to play way out of position. Lets face it, Pizarro is and will always be a forward/striker. But with Bayern he's been playing more as if midfield, something Pizarro is accustumed to but will not score as many goals playing doing so. So, If you're judging his level of play on the basis of goal scoring then its not fair either, Makaay is indeed a better scorer, but thats about it. Pizarro is more than a scorer, he's a team player, dribbler, scorer, defender and much much more. In the end its Hitzfeld who is to blame for Pizarro lack of goal scoring. Pizarro realizes this that is why his father has hinted about him leaving Bayern in the past month. Once Deisler and Scholl comes back I think Pizarro wont need to go back into the midfield as much and will prove his goal scoring abilities are just as good as Makaay's.
Peru y tu?

This is very untrue.
If you watch him play with Bayern, you will notice he misses many clear cut chances; and Hitzfeld is not to blame. Pizarro plays as a forward but yes he is expected to defend like the other squad members, only Makaay is apparently exempt from this as his finishing is deadly and the only true out and out striker in Bayern.
I for one wouldn't care less if Pizarro left, I don't like him much and I can't picture him going to a better team if he doesn't repeat the season he had for Werder Bremen before joining Bayern.

Players like Pizarro have a problem. They need to play every week, and always need to have the full confidence of the coach. Pizarro has prooved on many occasion how good a scorer he his. Unfortunately for him, Makaay is much better at converting chances (Pizarro might be a better player, but that doesn't matter here). Pizarro has had a tough time being second to Elber and now Maakay. The same might be true for Santa Cruz. Hm...maybe we can get Henrik Larsen--that would be a good combination: Makaay-Larsen. Then again, let's finally promote a striker from the amateurs, and actually give him some playing time as well.
