Frankfurt - Köln 2:2. That was one of the most entertaining second halves I have watched live. We were lousy in the first 45 minutes, Frankfurt could have scored three or four goals. After the break, we finally started fighting back and created great goalscoring chances. In the end, Eintracht didn't deserve to lose, so let's forget about the sitter missed by Ishiaku. He was cheered by the fans after the game. There must have been 5000 or 6000 of us in the Commerzbank-Arena.

I was very impressed with Nova, not only because he scored twice. The way he shields the ball and sets up chances for his teammates is pure class. Geromel was a tower of strength as well, although he lost the ball cheaply on one occasion.
Not a new insight really, but we have to do something about our malaise on the wings.

I had my doubts about him, but he's convinced me with his performance so far this season.

I'm not a local, but I know a pub which is very close to the stadium and packed with FC fans before matches. It's called "Doping" (Carl-Diem-Weg 6).

Enjoy your stay!

Have to admit it, I was afraid that Novagol might not be up to it in B1, but he's a champ.

Ditto. If he stays with us and if Poldi gets his act together (yeah I know, two ifs in one sentence), then we might have a scary attack next year.

From the official FC website: Michael Meier talked to Roda Antar about the player's future at the club. Meier claims to have said that Antar could be an important player for the team if he showed a positive attitude. Today, Antar didn't show up for training. Meier interpretes this as a clear decision against the FC.

I expect he would stay, but when does his contract expire?

It was prolonged until 2011.

Antar could have been an important player for Koln?

Meier is f#cking crazy if he seriously believes that.

The only way Roda Antar would be an "important player" for you guys is if you are relegated and lose your entire starting lineup.

Wait until you've read this (older) quote:
"A player with his abilities - normally that's Champions League format," says Meier.
