From a Yanks Abroad perspective this could be a big opportunity for him if he can have a positive effect at age 23, with an EU passport he could have some pretty big leagues/teams take a look at him.

Correct, but it has many deals with the EU. If Mix wanted to play in an EU nation, he wouldn't have an issue getting a work permit.

I love smorrebrod (especially with local seafood), although I didn't know that open-faced sandwiches were called that outside of Denmark. I volunteer to buy @miklagard a gift certificate to his favorite smorrebrod joint if he makes the final roster (which I hope he does)!
