It's obvious that we are not putting our best team out there. Dave Jones said that the Cup is second priority to survival. Though personally, I want to go as far as we can in the Cup. It didn't hurt us last year to go to the quarters.

The thing I'm concerned about is that this might break up the nice run of momentum that we picked up from Man Utd. and Liverpool, but we probably won't find out how much this game really meant until the end of the season.
If Wolves survive, it was probably a good thing that the Cup run ended here. If we wind up relegated, I wonder how important the break in momentum will have been?

We were just poor today. Luzhny and Kennedy were just plain dreadful! We missed Alex Rae, today. Rae was out with a hip injury and Irwin was also rested. Those are the main concerns now as we head to Fratton Park on Saturday.
Mark Kennedy has not had a good match all year! Leon Clarke did show some flashes of brilliance, but his inexperience showed.
I hope we are not going "all in" with Carl Cort. We don't need more injuries. I can only wonder what would have been if Murray and Lescott were healthy.
