If they get promoted to Division 1 next season does that mean Paris will have 2 div. 1 teams ? I know they are in a suburb of Paris but are they still considered to be a Paris team then

Creteil has a pretty small support base (they average like 2,000 fans, which is poor even by French second divsion crowd standards, which average around 6,000). I am not sure most Paris fans would warm uip to them. I would think a team like Racing Club de Paris would do better if promoted because they have a lot of history behind them. I am not familiar with the suburb of Creteil myself. Does anyone know if it is a poor suburb like Noisy-Le-Sec? Cretiel for a while had Alain Afflelou in charge, but the ex-Bordeaux man has since parted ways with the club. For a real second Paris club we need RC de Paris or Red Star to climb out of the lower divisions as they are both based in the city and have more a of apartsian history. But speaking of Paris suburban football, does anyone know if the proposed merger between Olympique Noisy-Le-Sec (essentially an arab and african run club) and Lusitanos Saint-Maur (a portugese run club) went through? I believe they were both relegated to the CFA last season.
