Thumbs up New Legions of American Fulham Fans

Not only did Fulham pick up U.S. National Team starters in the last week, but count me amongst the legion of new Fulham supports from across the Pond!

Bocanegra did not seem out of place at all..... With time he will be "class"......

But Newcastle will march on
it is tough rooting against Fullham when Newcastle was playing them. But I hope Fulham has a fantastic season on the back of the 2 Yanks...

Hey, I wandered over to this board just because I heard the news. It'll be nice to cheer on someone besides a goalkeeper. Count me as a (newbie) supporter.

There's only one Brian McBride!

Unhappy

Unfortunately, we seem to be the only fans of this team that know about Bigsoccer.

I'll work on fixing that!

Ahh, I am not the only one. I felt like a trader, but felt better upon conclusion of the match. I will support my American lads with Fulham though.

Fulham now proudly sits on my list of teams to root for... Thank you Carlos and Brian and good luck in the EPL. Thank you Fulham for giving our boys a chance.

Okay guys. If you want to be Fulham fans, you can get a good idea of the team's rise by going to this website and reading Ormondroyd's cartoon match reports, starting with the earliest season and going game by game. You'll be talking like a real Cottager in a couple of days and ragging on those who don't own old copies of the great Fulham fanzine Where Were You When We Were Skint

Seriously, you'll have a good time reading your way through the '98-99 season when they were in the Second Division, Barry Hayles had a tough time getting going, Chris Coleman was a player, and the manager was none other than Kevin Keegan.
