Post Albion trying to land Cort again?

Striking options up front for the Albion are looking quite bleak at the moment. Hulse is facing suspension after his straight red Saturday, Dobie's injured, Dichio is on loan again, Hughesie is facing justice and Roberts gone to Wigan (um, are we going to play 4-5-1 with a lone Horse up front?)

So now the Evening Mail report West Brom are trying again to obtain the services of Carl Cort from Newcastle. Sir Bobby Robson had turned aside Albion's approaches for him earlier this season, but with Cort clearly out of favor on Tyneside, sure the Mags have an under-used striker they can spare?

Thumbs down Cort going to Wulfs instead!

Newcastle have agreed with the Dingles to send Cort to the Molineux (Albion only wanted him on loan, but the Mags wanted Cort off the books completely). Apparently, Jones and company hope Cort can save a ship that is still listing despite decent efforts against the North-West giants this past week.

Meanwhile Albion are still looking for a striker...
