Former Japanese national team player Masayuki Okano will trial with Hong Kong's South China AA. He has apparently agreed to play for a South China Pegasus combined team in the CNY Cup to be held on 26th and 29th January. The CNY Cup will also feature Sprata Prague (Czech Rep), Suwon Bluewings (Korea) and Hong Kong League XI.
Masayuki Okano has signed for South China AA's "sister" team TSW Pegasus for the remainder of the 08-09 season. He could make his debut this Saturday away at NTR Wofoo Tai Po.
with so many godawful players who keep infesting J1 and J2 rosters it baffles me that such a talent never got to play as much as he deserved in Urawa and then even had to emigrate to find a club. Unbelievable.
