I watched this game and I was very shocked! This senior Kiwi's not the same as young U-20 or U-17!! I'll bet that juniors from New Zealand are better than this seniors especially goalie Bindon! What a goals, five of them was error by Bindon! I hope that on the next match in the first squad will play all young players from U-17 and U-20... Uhm, and I also must notice that in this game debiuted 15 YEARS OLD Rosie White. Its mean that she beated Mia Hamm's age record to play in senior team?

Chinadaiyi, where's from you took this pictures? Do you have more, especially Rosie White [#10] and other young New Zealand players?

    Re: Four Nations Tournament 2009-China

When a team brings 10 players from their youth teams that's a pretty good statement about the direction they're headed and where they think the talent is. That's certainly the case with New Zealand. If they qualify for the next WC you will see a good number of players from these two age groups on their roster.

Yes, its good that senior team brings a few players from youth teams, they'll play a few times and New Zealand will have a very perspectivic squad on the next WC and Olympics. IMHO Hannah Wall, 17 year old player was the best player on Kiwi's team today. And I hope that Rosie White's talent will explode in near future as Marta's talent :)

South Korea are improving rapidly. Before that game, I would put their chances of victory against Finland at 50/50. I think they have a real chance of winning the tournament.

2 days before the tournament, there was a closed-doors training match - South Korea 4-0 New Zealand. I wonder if the tournament result between these two will be similar?

With all due respcet to South Korea, this spells trouble for the home side in the EURO 2009. NZ disappoints, and certainly given that they have a free pass to the WC after Australias conversion. They didn't convince against Papua New Guinea from the reports I've read.

Younger? Yeah, you could say tha. Ten of their players played in the U-17 and/or U-20 World Cups recently. Rosie White has been mentioned a few times in the thread--she is eligible to play again in the next U-17 World Cup. So yes, definitely younger.

South Korea 4:3New Zealand.the sub GK for S.Korea,

I just watch the second half, the second half ,New Zealand once got more chances than S.korea.
it said that South Korea got a dreamly 2:0.
New Zealand scored 1 goal by 9#.1:2.after the goal New Zealand got more chances than S.korea..
    but 72' theS.Korea got the 3rd goal....
quickly the fourth goal for them.unfortunatly for them...
New Zealand got the second goal from a long shot by 17#..
1 minute later. New Zealand got a PK,11# missed the goal,on the targest, unlucky.
    in the injuried time 3:4.
    that was the result....unlucky....

if China can beat Finland in the coming game..so the champion won't out until the last game -China vs South Korea.
