I hadn't been so excided as that since Charlton beat Arsenal 4-2 at Highbury two years ago. Talk about a total team effort. They created so many chances and their passing was brilliant. And to think they did all that without their playmaker Claus Jenson.

Getting Johansson back was just what the club needed. Lisbie and Johansson are our speed demons. We need pace to frustrate defenses and we didn't have it until yesterday.

Kishishev and Perry were a little suspect yesterday. Kish was having all kinds of trouble. He'd lose his balance at times. However, he did make so cluch challenges. Perry on the other hand should not have allowed Terry to get by him on the Blues first goal.

My biggest complaint, and from the look of anger on Kiely's face, was Chelsea's second goal. Three defenders stood around and made no attempt to challenge Gudjonsson. They acted like they were afraid of giving away a penalty.

We really needed that extra goal in the goal difference. Big goal diffences are few and far between. I just hope we don't miss out on Europe because of a tie in points but a lower goal differential.

Yes, what a match. And let's not speak too soon about Sunday's against Hotspurs.

And wasn't DiCanio a spark again? What passion! He figured in two of the goals.

And how's that for Euell-tide greetings. Jason finally puts one away. Here's hoping that will start him up. [He could have had another.]

This is awesome. What a great win.

I am on vacation and write more when I get back.
